Schweet I'll note this down for my SAI removal
Once you unplug it the valve won't open. Basically you can leave it there or just take part of it off, it makes no difference, the sai will be dead. I did this to the last cupra I had and ran it for a long long time as when I sent of for the delete plate on eBay I forgot to add house number so never got one for it.
I does bring up a code obviously but as far as I remember no engine light. I just did it now and no light but have the code. Last guy who had my car seems to have tried to remove it but when you try and pull it out its not that easy, you have to undo the front end of the car where the rad is to swing it up to make room so bumper has to come off to...he didn't do this and sort of left it there half in place. Also noticed the fan had a knocking sound yesterday....pops the bonnet to fine the power lead for the amp against it so as it rotates it make a worrying sound hahaha. Shat myself tbh as I only just got it and not really had much time to look at it.

SOMEONE with a "BIG MOUTH MOD" can you please measure the entire grill opening for me? Not just the part that air flows through but the entire mouth/grill. Or should I start a new thread just for a silly request like this?

Clutch and SMF came in today, along with spare 02m quattro tranny on a pallet. Getting excited the more parts come in the more I want to buy

I find stuff like this interesting and found it in the car. Vehicle handover checklist.... First owner clearly didn't care and wanted to get gone for a drive.

Think the people next door need to have a word with sky about their dish. Installer was a ****, I use to do it way back when digital came out and if you marked the paint on the dish it was rust in time. You got a good looking garden there. Very kept I see. Also the microfiber suite....can see old bill being rang (indecent act against a car) lol

The neighbours are Fanny’s anyway
Can’t take credit for the garden as it’s the better half that has the green fingers but cheers all the same.
As for the suit, I think the other neighbours would just laugh as I’m ‘always cleaning it’

Let's face it...it cost far less to clean a cupra than drive one.
