Well assuming its a Genuine Ross Tech cable and that its the right version for your car that is one issue out of the way.

What coding were you using to make the changes

For the FIS The coding I have is

Put FIS carbon background
With this mod, we change the background FIS Carbon mode.
1 - Module 17 - Code Box instruments- (25327)
2 - Adaptation
3 - Select Display Image
4 - Select one of the options:
- Option 1 (default)
- Option 2 (Carbon)

For the Infotainment its

Activated carbon background Infotainment
With this mod, change the background screen infotainment to Carbon mode.
1 - Module 5F - Electronic Information 1. Code (20103)
2 - Extended Code (Text mode)
3 - Byte 17 Skinning
4 - Select Skin 3

But this is pre facelift, not sure if its the same on Facelift.

Could anyone please help with the following....
I found this somewhere (can't remember where) but I couldn't find Extended Coding.
Apparently it makes the climate control 30% colder....

1 - Module 08 - Electronic air conditioning / heating
2 - Extended Coding (Text)
3 - Temperature Adjustment
4 - Change value: Set colder func.refrig

Any ideas gratefully accepted

What it means is Long Coding.

So go control unit 08
Select Long Coding
Then you will notice at the top of the screen a 0 and a 1, you want to be in 0 (which is the default)

On my car the attribute is called Temperature tunning
Change this to colder tuning cooling operation.

From memory it does not make it any cooler but it does get it cooler much quicker.

I read on the OBD Forum that it can be coded to work that way but after the car has been off for a period of time, i.e. parked up overnight or at work etc, the coding resets itself back to opening on door unlock

This has been confirmed to work on a FL Leon (2017) by closing and opening the car and starting the engine.

I can not confirm if it resets after the car has been locked and opened after a prolonged closure.

--------------------------------------
Go to Module 09 Electronic control unit

Confirm security code 31347

Adaptation

Enter Spiegelverstellung

Change or Confirm
Funk Spiegelanklappung Modus,

Set value "by look command via remote control key"

Change or Confirm
Funk Spiegelanklappen,

Set value "Activated"

Change or Confirm
Menusteuerung Funk Spiegelanklappen,

Set value "Activated"

If you want them to be opened when the Ignition is started, instead of when opening the control / door

Change Signalisierung_Spiegelanklappung

Set value "Not Activated" <<<<----- THIS IS THE KEY TO IT WORKING
@Maypack I did this last night and it still worked fine this morning after leaving the car all night

Any idea about the infotainment screen ? how do I change it back to normal, from a VW to a seat leon ?

have a read of this thread http://obdeleven.proboards.com/post/11705

But from when I looked at this many many moons ago the choices of car are determined by what is stored on your cars settings and you will need VCP to add new images. I only mention that in case you have added a new head unit or done a firmware upgrade.

Could anyone please help with the following....
I tried coding the 'auto window closing when raining' last night..

I did the following....

Adaptation
Control unit: 09 Central Electrics
Name: ZV Komfort
Values:
Menuesteuerung Regenschliessen:
Old value: not active
New value: active
Regenschliessen_ein_aus:
Old value: not active
New value: active
Regenschliessen_art:
Old value: once
New value: permanent

but when I tried to do the long coding bit for the sensor, I saw the following subsystems: WWS370 180417, G397_FSS, Sensor, DWA and Sirene, DWA. I tried ticking bits 1 & 2 (byte 0), for G397_FSS, but got an error message '(31) Function not available'

I recently retro fitted sensor 5Q0955547A, as part of auto wipers/lights and auto wipers/lights work perfectly....

I did the following for sensor/light switch....

Control unit: 09 Central Electrics (Code 31347)
Name: Assistance light functions
Values:
Regen_Lichtsensor:
Old value: not installed
New value: LIN_Regen_Licht_Sensor
Sonnensensor:
Old value: installed
New value: not installed
LS_Error_Ausgabe:
Old value: not active
New value: active
Name: Aussenlicht_uebergreifend
Values:
LDS_mit_AFL:
Old value: No
New value: Yes
Coming Home Verbaustatus:
Old value: Manual
New value: automatic
Helligkeitsschwelle Infrarot-Messung:
Old value: 0 lx
New value: 18 lx
Leaving-Home Verbausstatus:
Old value: not enabled
New value: Enabled
Menuesteuerung Leaving-home Freischaltung per BAP:
Old value: not active
New value: active

I've read that there are issues with the later sensors, but seen anything regarding the one ending with A.

Any ideas, Thanks

When using apps for making changes, do you keep you access to the app with 1 credit payment?

For example, sign recognition is 100C.

Will it take 100C everytime I try to activate or diactivate again? Or a one time 100C payment give me access whenever I want?

You will be charged for each use ie activate = 100C and deactivate = 100C.

Long coding is the best way. As if you have Pro it’s free no matter how many times you do it

Cant find any coding yet however if you look at the video its being applied to a VW Passat (which is an MQP Platform car).
I have checked on OBD11 and the staging blower speed leds APP is on both 2014 and 2017 cars.

I also noted it was not on the Jetta or the Atlas apps list.

More digging to do.

update found somebody who has done it http://forums.tdiclub.com/showpost.php?p=4391107&postcount=430

http://www.ukpassats.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=86323

- which implies its a change via adaptions
Yeah it does work and should do it as standard in my opinion. I used the app option so don't know about coding. The changes to make the air con cooler have been handy recently aswell that's worth doing.
Did anyone ever get this to work

If you are after the staging (eg goes from zero to max and back to zero on start up) I have not seen this working on a Leon, not to say its cant be done but I have not seen it.

There are two other mods for the air con the first one is to show all the lights on the air con when on Auto (I think some people think that is what this is) that does work fine and second one is to increase the coolant when turning on the air con, does not get the car colder but it gets it cold quicker (from my experience and what i have read on the web).

As always very happy to be proved wrong on the stuff that cant be done.

Yes it was the sweeping motion like the fuel and temperature gauges, thanks

Which is the correct channel for the rear fog intensity?
The OBD11 boards thread contradicts itself.

Also can we change the intensity of the rear indicators?

on the pre facelift i think its 12n or 13n but I have to say (and it was a very very long time ago i tried this) I dont think you will notice the difference.

Okay.

I'm more interested in the indicators as the LED bulbs that I bought don't work, so was hoping that turning up the intensity may help.

Hi Everybody,

I have been up and down this thread so apologies if it is a repeat of an older question:

Is there such a thing as a blindspot assist on the Leon Cupra ST that could be activated by ODBeleven? It looks like the hard ware would be there (the mini flasher on the wing mirror and the parking sensors front and rear) and it would be quite useful for those crazy motorway journeys...

Anyone found it or know if it exists?

Simon.
