I asked in the Carista thread but the answer is a no apparently.
Can you use OBDeleven to increase the DRL brightness when the headlights are switched on ?
Is just like to increase them a touch (I presume they are set to about 10% with headlights on) to improve near car visibility at night.
I’m not massively impressed with the Seat Full LED headlight system.
It’s lacks any form of cornering light and doesn’t light up the area immediately in front of the car.
Also no front fog lights anymore so that isn’t an option for cornering light.

Hi, guys! I'm trying to activate some of the functions on my Leon mk3 facelift (17 plate), but via VCDS. These don't seem to match up with OBDeleven. Can somebody point me in the right direction?
Only managed to activate staging.

Afraid I don't have the light settings for the facelift cars but logically you should be able to adjust the DRL Values if that is all you want to change then might be worth a shout on this thread or VCDS one for somebody to come have a look for beer tokens.

Two versions of OBDEleven are now available.
The original requires an Android Phone or Tablet.
The new version requires an IPhone or IPad.
The original is fully functional but the new version has not yet been given full functionality as it is recently new and there are issues with availability of the unit itself.
I would look at what you are wanting to use the OBDeleven for on your car. If you check out the link in the post placed higher in this thread by @theoldboy it will show what can be done to your car.

Just one small update on @Maypack post, the new version will run on both Iphone/Ipad and Android Phone/Tablet and going forward will also support coding to the BMW Range (others to follow).
The original Dongle will only support Android and will not support other car manuafacturers
You will need to buy and OBD11 Dongle https://obdeleven.com/en/ - you cant use other dongls.
Software is free to download but if you want to code (and its the best way) you will need to buy the pro Licence.

Today I have VCDS with the “old cable”. I can’t reach all modules in our two VAG cars from 2018 Leon /Golf. VCDS have become rather expensive so I want to buy OBDeleven. I suppose I should await the launch of generation 2 PRO version for Android then….

The new dongle is out already, its only IOS That is limited functionality at this time.
From what i have seen on this forum there is a delay with the manufacture of the new dongles due to TECHNICAL ISSUES
so if you can find a cheap second hand dongle then you could buy it and the Pro License (this you must have to code) and when they have sorted out production bugs then you buy the new dongle.
Hope that makes sense.

- Added EEPROM function (Go to Control Unit -> EEPROM)
- Added Full Backup (Go to Vehicle -> Backup)
- Extended Backup functionality
- Improved Apps to show newly added Apps
- Improved Charts to support 16 values
- Moved Charts access from Live Data to Control Unit

Don't know for sure but if you worry about these things then don't do it.
This is the comment i got from Seat re warranty for modification you can make via VCDS, OBD11 etc.
If also you turned on any features of a component that did not come as standard on your vehicle and that component broke the cost will not be covered by SEAT and in doing so the warranty on any related parts can also be affected.

Brake Booster: factory value set to 4.
The lower the value the more firm the feel.
A few dash lights came on then went off when the car was started.
Pedal feel is much more firm and direct without the previous spongy feel.

Heads up if anybody is looking for mods via OBD11, A list with a number of mods can be found here http://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/6342/adaptions-spanish-site it is taken from the spanish club seat leon site but converted into english and has the variations according to MY Code of your car if applicable. There are also links to some helpful videos

Next OBD11 Release will have an upgraded workshop code under settings.
1. Workshop code is code which is showing where coding or adaptations was changed. Every official workshop have own code and Volkswagen service can identify where changes was made. So earlier we used code 12345 for all changes, now you can enter your own code if you have. Also you can read out workshop code from control unit and use it as your standard. then dealer will not know that coding was changed not by official workshop.
For me what this means is if you copy a garage code into this field any changes you make with OBD11 Will be recorded against a Garage code rather than OBD11 Device.

Tested these three today to ensure the pass codes work and changes accepted.
Thanks to reddragonaus on the Audi OBD11 Forum for the codes.
These changes were tested out for track day use.

Hydraulic Brake Assistant (factory Normal)
I changed to Not Activated. Allows the driver to modulate brake pressure progressively. This is a must do for tracking as it keeps the car from apply brakes thinking you are are panic stopping which will in turn help with unintentionally activating the abs.

I tested this one out and have to say the difference was very noticable when you went to 1, the brake pedal gave me a much better feel for how much pressure was being applied to the brakes.

Allows for Tire squirm on softer compound semi slick tires.
Factory setting: activated
Set to: Not Activated
Code 25757
disabling the “straight ahead brake stabilization”. The stabilization setting is most noticeable at higher speeds, if you have ever felt your car tug back and fourth this is the system doing some weird stuff behind the scenes and it can make for a sketchy scenario with it on when you are deep in the triple digits.
Update - when you make any of the above changes the dash will display a number of errors (ABS, TYRE WARNING AND TCS) Once you start driving the car or recycle the ignition these errors will dissapear.
