Just an update here

The Audi mode didn't take on my car.

It's a pre facelift 2016 model according to the VIN
I received the following (see attached)

Not overly concerned but I thought I'd share.

I think the long code should read as follows:

0A 1D 00 12 24 24 01 0B 20 00

That’s what mine showed when I tried it. It did install but doesn’t work on the Facelift Leon unless it has ACC and not just Cruise Control.

Just be warned different car setups mean the long coding will be different, just to put that into context I have different coding to both of you.

Tried the torque limiter mod (starting vibration) with obd11 but it said something along the lines of 'not supported' anybody know why this is or a way round it ?

2016 pre face lift 1.8TSI FR

I would always clear your app cache first (its just like the PC guys saying do alt ctrl delete) and then try again.
Also were you doing it with engine on, if so try with just ignition on

Is this relevant for the pre facelift as I don't have ACC fitted here either?

Understood. It was worth a try.
I was able to clear some errors and activate the wing mirrors fold on lock so I'm happy.

I was going through so many keyfob batteries and the dealership suggested it may be all the additional holding of the button to fold them.

The errors we have been getting on Facelift cars are related to ABS/ACC and came after the change was accepted.
Your error is saying you cant make the change on your car which is different.

@theoldboy. I did some testing of the Audi Throttle mod and posted on the Thread titled Throttle Settings the errors/faults I came across. Could you have a look at it and see if it means anything to you.

Yes saw it not got round to looking at it yet, on my list

I had to enable the green engineering menu to get the carbon background on the infotainment unit. I was never able to get it to work on the screen in between the dials.
Hi, I've tried putting the carbon background on both displays, changing to skin 2 and version 2 however none seem to work even after holding power down or leaving vehice over night.
Any ideas?

I enabled the Audi throttle settings a few days ago on my 2013 car. I can't feel any perceptible difference in throttle response smoothness or anything else? I think it has altered the way my cruise control works though. When I flip the switch to turn it on I now have to press - to enable it. I'm sure it was enabled with both + and - before the change?

Been reading along for a while about this Audi throttle mod. But what exactly does it do? Just make acceleration smoother or remove turbo Lag? (I have plenty of that)

I read it works better on pre-facelift but you need to have ACC?
What is ACC?

And final question, is this mod just for cupras or high end motors? Would it work on my 1.2 2014 mk3? Or is it a case of try it and see?

TIA

@stepdey thanks, if I have read this correctly the current settings are:

Dimming Direction GH 2:
Old value: maximize
New value: minimize - as per code sheet.
Dimmwert GH 2:
Old value: 35
New value: 100 I have this set to 0 but original poster had 100
Lichtfunktion G 2:
Old value: Blinken links Dunkelphase
New value: Blinken rechts Hellphase this should be
Blinken links Hellphase

Mileage: 16654 km
Date: 2018-07-28 19:57

Evening mate,

I too struggled with this mod today after following a post above.

Just to confirm..

@stepdey
Dimmwert GH 2:
Old value: 35
New value: 100 I have this set to 0 but original poster had 100

Yours is set to "0" and this mod is currently active and working on your pre facelift?

Just wondering why I didn't see what I was expecting.

I too have the Scandinavian DRLs setup.

The front left DRL actually flashes with the indicator. Doesn't happen with the front right though.

*Edit*

Ok think I was just having a moment.

I guess I only coded

Leuchte2SL VLB10 (left front DRL)

I'm guessing running the same commands on:

Leuchte3SL VRB21 (right front DRL)

Would have evened me out...

I'll try again later.

Nope that didn't work either.

Leuchte3SL VRB21does refer to the front right.

However instead of the left DRL flashing with the left indicator and the right DRL with the right indicator. Both the left and right DRLs flash with the left indicator only.

Any advice from those in the know will be appreciated.

Can you please post your control unit 09 screen shot for the Leuchte2SL VLB10 set.

Are you pre facelift and do you have full LED's (bar indicators)
