The dealer has also bought an original v6 card with a number in it.
That did not work.
Our car is from 2013, and the new fast MIB2 unit comes from a demolition 2016.
Which kit do I need now for the navigation to work again?
Which database should I use, from 2013 or 2016

Pretty sure a 2013 car would have either V3 or V4 map card fitted.

They would need to order the relevant upgrade card - not a new card

A V6 card won't code to a car that had an earlier card in it.

Do you also have a model number of an upgrade card.
So I do not need a new v6 card ...
Should this upgrade card also be switched on by VW Central System?
(We now have a new fast MIB2 unit from 2016)

When I first got my car in 2015 - the dealer had put a 2012 card in to the unit.

The unit registers the first card inserted and that starts the process.

I demanded 2015 maps because it was a 2015 car.
They ordered a 2015 map card and it would not work

After a chat with SEAT technical - they were given a part number to upgrade the 2012 maps to the 2015 version.

The new version was V6 and the part number on the box is 5F0060884H
The card in the box carries part number 5F0919866K

The code comes in the box to activate it.

Instructions read :
1. start with the battery disconnected
2. ensure the navigation system card slots are empty
3. connect the battery
4. connect the SEAT diagnostic equipment
5. Start diagnostics and identify the vehicle correctly
6. Go to the special functions tab
7. Carry out the test SVM-activation
Follow the instructions on the screen ( this is where they need to insert the activation licence code from the new card )
8. Disconnect the diagnostic equipment
9. Switch off the navigation system
10. Dissconnect the battery for a minimum of 2 minutes
11. Re-connect the battery
12. Start the navigation system
13. Introduce the new navigation map card
14. Try the navigation system to ensure the new map update has been accepted

Thank you very much for the extensive information.
I am already very happy about this :)
So it has to be at the dealer on the computer?
But how do I get the upgrade card.
Who can I call? Or should the dealer arrange this?
Do you have a link with whom I can arrange this?

I believe it is a dealer only item because it can't be installed without their equipment.

My conversation was with SEAT Customer services technical dept

EDIT - as you said you are looking for a V6 card - they could try the part number I posted - that is a V6 card
Is the part number on your first card 5F0919866K ?

You have to get your navigation FEC back in if component protection is removed then navigation installed. If the dealer messed up component protection and removed navigation in the process which it sounds like they should pay to make good what they deleted off a working system. They probably just don't know how to fix it. After I messed my system up the engineer (mechanic) was soaking whatever you soak in petrol he wasn't a software engineer, I stood over his shoulder as he tried certain things out that I suggested he did on the VAG device. In the end I sorted it out myself and cancelled the chargeable revisit but this one isn't something you can fix yourself and they should pay. Needs to be passed up so the tech gets told what they need to do on the VW GeKo system.

Can you tell me exactly what I need to give to the dealer.
(So including those 14 steps of battery off and on.)
And what else should I tell them?
And what should be bought? V6 card?

The part number of the first card from the (new) MIB2 unit is Navigation AS Europa V2 6P0.919.866D

Sorry - no idea.

You are starting with a V2 card.

The dealer needs to find out what the map upgrade part number is through SEAT UK

As long as they have ordered an UPGRADE card and not a NEW card.

Only the UPGRADE card comes with the licence code to work with the SVM process.

What is the difference between the upgrade and new card?
can the dealer order the upgrade card?
They continuously order the new v6
(in the DVD cover with 3 number in the back)

Seriously - change dealers - they sound like a bunch of incompetent clowns.

But what is the difference between upgrade and new?
Is version 6 good? Since there are 3 numbers in the DVD.
I go to the dealer on Monday morning with the 14 points.
And I will maybe switch over to another dealer.

I don't know

I can only repeat what I was told by SEAT CS technical

You can't buy a new V6 card and code it to a car - new cards only work when inserted in to a new navigation system that has never had a card in it.

You need a map upgrade card that arrives with the licence license code

Can I also restore the original v2 card and use it?
At the moment it does not work yet, but has always worked.

I would not be doing all this fekking around.

Dealer fekked it up - get the dealer to fix it - should not be your issue to fix.

FEC license for navigation db from mib1 to mib2 couldnt be transfered.
Fec license have another id so license from mib1 will be ignored.

There are min. two licenses for navigation db in the unit:
1. Base license for activating nav db.
2. License for nav db card.

Firstly is needed to generarte base license then delaer can registred new card
in pairing process. But I dont know standard workflow proces my knowledges are from reversing fw & filesystem in the mib unit.
