Luke and Snarks have been waiting a bit longer than you, but their orders are 1.4 EcoTSI which did have longer delays. I ordered three weeks after you but my car isn’t due to be built until January (and still unconfirmed).

If you have your order number, give SEAT Customer services a ring and chase it up.

It's gotta be them DSG's!!

Spoke with my dealer today. My Cupra is currently in build and he was hopeful the car would be in my hands before Christmas.

Hey guys! New here. I ordered my Cupra on 30/9/17. Have been told my confirmed build week is 48. I asked my dealer whether the digital dash would be in my model. Obviously my dealer wasn’t sure however they said new changes are usually implemented on week 45.
Anyone have any further input on this?

Did you order any optional extras?

I ordered a Leon FR Technology 1.4 (150) manual in Urban Silver yesterday. Was given an estimated delivery date of 31 March but sounds from this thread like that could be optimistic!

Does anyone have any photos of the Leon in Urban Silver? Preferably with the standard FR wheels? There don't seem to be many on Google, the only ones I could find were Cupras and mainly professional photos that were heavily filtered. I think it looks great on the Cupra with the black mirrors and machined alloys but worried it will look too bland on the FR.

Saw one in mystery blue outside the showroom when I went to order and it looked amazing but having previously decided on the silver I stuck with that, but now wondering if I should try to change the order...

Did you order any options?

Could you add mine to the spreadsheet?

Cupra ST 300
Adaptive Cruise Control

Ordered 2/11/17

Probable delivery March '18.

No build week provided yet.

Anyone had any dealings good/bad with Seat Coventry?

Cheers

Done. Thank you.

I was told the build proceess is 24 hours, no idea how correct that is.

I've put my order on the back burner for now. The dealer has extended my current PCP until end of Jan 18. Also, I'm currently in the process of buying a house and I've been told by the mortgage broker to try and hold off delivery of the new car (and therefore new credit agreement) until after (all being well) completion in March.

The pressure is off now that my current car has been extended so I'll just let it run it's course for now. I'll be keeping a watchful eye on it and updating the spreadsheet though. May end up having to pay for two new tyres on the back though

I'm sure these unconfirmed build weeks are just plucked out of thin air by the way, hence why they won't discuss goodwill until after delivery. I'd really like to hope that the orders with ridiculous unconfirmed build weeks will be brought forward.

Ewen, sounds like you've been having a nightmare with SEAT!! Have you used the spreadsheet whilst talking to them at all? I asked them to explain why someone (FNeves) ordered well after me but already has a confirmed build week. Like everything else, Raheel didn't know

His car is left-hand drive. Maybe they only build RHD cars at certain times rather than mixing them up on the production line. If you miss your chance, perhaps you have to wait 2 weeks for the next one?

Is it LHD? I didn’t realise that.

Ive rejected a 14 plate FR that had to go back to the dealers for the repair of a couple of scratches that should have been sorted out out before purchase. I picked the car up on the agreed day then returned it a week later for the repair. I got it back 8 days later with not only a poor respray of most of the passenger side but an equally poor respray on the whole drivers side.
I have no idea what had happened and wasn't bothered as soon as I decided to reject the car and to be fair the dealer accepted straight away and gave me a full refund.

On the back of that I decided to buy new and got a cracking price from Drive the Deal. Please could you add the car below to the tracker.

1.8 TSI FR in Mystery Blue, ordered on 25.10.17 from JCB SEAT in Ashford Kent.
Options:
18" Performance machined Alloys 30/2
Seat Sound Pack
Adaptive Cruise Control.

I've not had any further correspondence from the dealer as yet. I checked Drive the Deal yesterday and the price is now over £1500 more than what I purchased at.

Manual or DSG?

I also just noticed my carwow quotes have gone up exactly £1500 since I ordered last weekend. Glad I didn't hang around!

I ordered a manual,

I have just realised that I posted that the car was ordered from Carwow when in fact it was Drive the Deal. I was looking at quotes from Carwow but the closest offer was a couple of grand more. I ordered my Leon with the extra's listed for £17792.

I have moved from build week 9 to 7 and obviously still unconfirmed... My guess will be a confirmed build week of 4 or 5??? But, who knows, you spin the roulette 'when will my Leon be built' wheel...

Once it's built it's generally 3 to 4 weeks till it lands at the dealers v

Thanks

So I emailed them again and was informed of the following:

Thank you for your recent email.

I raised your question with our Sales Office and I have been advised that if the build is not confirmed by next Friday (24 November 2017), it is likely that the vehicle will arrive later than the advised lead time (week commencing 18 December 2017).

As stated previously, if there is a delay, we will happily look at a goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, at this stage, we cannot confirm if this will be the case.

Thank you for your continued patience.

They really need to sort themselves out!
