Changed my air vents handles back to my original grey FR ones, been meaning to do it for ages.
Only thing I had to do was file down the spacers to allow my handles to fit nicely.

What vents were you running?
I still need to install my S3 illuminated vents and was thinking about swapping the grey FR bits over actually.

Have got the S3 vents but got fed up of the chrome clip handles.
Read on here about swapping over so with a spare half hour it was done, will get a couple of pics tomorrow ;)

Automatic lights! Does it work?
Gotta love VAG group, swapping parts and modding is so easy

Are you sure you've got all the pieces of it there mate? The only reason i ask is that broken bits of that tube are the no1 cause of blocked oil pick-ups on these motors. If it looks like bits of it are missing then i'd drop the sump as a precaution

Thanks for asking mate...Yes I'm sure there is no nasty bits left over. First time i pulled it out when buying the car the bits on the stick to guide it fell off in my hand! Was lucky there..And when it snapped it snapped clean and Sharp, again lucky there...Then i tried to pull the rest off with pliers and it didn't come off but what was on the pliers did! Again lucky nothing fell in, so got my big boy grips out and pulled it off in one.
Was lucky today.

Again thanks for asking, i see you help all the time and my hat's off to you for that sir.
Seat.net have some nice people here.

Ah cheers buddy :) Glad to hear that it all came off in the end. :) Stupid design really, they should've made the tube metal IMO.

Just put some 3mm universal spacers on the back. Not too much..Just wanted a little extra. Also fixed up the PCV system, no longer venting to atmosphere . And also found out that the windows are bolted in in the doors....Found this out when pass door window dropped on the school run "shame it don't pop and bang hahah
