Did the mk4 seats bolt straight in or was there any work needed? Looks very smart mate. Think it's the best part of the leon having plain black door cards. Easy to change seats without them looking out of place

Yeah direct fit, sometimes the airbag plugs need changing. These were okay to plug straight in.

So much nicer than stock seat, more bolstered and lumber support.

Out of interest what are you doing with your old seats? My driver side is a little tired. I will Deffo be looking for some golf seats in the near future then.

I've put them up for sale as a set at the moment.

I'd keep them but I'd rather not take the space up in the garage!

Busy weekend. Passenger side doors resealed, new alternator pulley, new aux belt, sorted a boost leak, simplified vacuum system after removing egr and anti shudder valve. Then washed and polished :)

I got Audi leather seats from a 3 door A3 s-line half a year ago, just love the support that they offer and the bonus is the small storage compartment in the seat.
Christ what a pain in the arse it was for me to do the plugs... actually I was a bit lazy haha was putting it off for months till I run out of MOT.
I finally done it over this the weekend. I was reluctant to do it because I couldn't find any info on the wiring.
I'm quite happy with myself that I managed to get that vag com vcds working and managing to reset airbag light.

Programmed my key using vagcom so that the horn sounds and lights flash when locking and unlocking :)

Sweet, I want to set up that when I'm turning the alarm on the windows will close automatically, any idea how to get about it?

At last tracked down the reason for rough idle on my Mk1 Cupra T. Vacuum leak, split in the small pipe running from main upper breather tube to the inlet manifold. The brake cleaner spray trick gave the clue where to search. Even after all these years I find it hard to understand the plumbing of the 20VT engine. Broke the dipstick guide tube though!

How did you do that? Searching high and low for mine

Well I only bought the car a week ago and have had to do so much to it so far.

Today replaced the air filter, flushed and replaced my power steering fluid, taped up a split brake servo vacuum hose, and finally changed the coolant temp sensor and outside air temp sensor.

Then I sat in and awaited delivery of a new exhaust system from carparts4less.

After this with the steering no longer felling like I'm turning a HGV (due to the power steering fluid level being below minimum) I proceeded to drive to the breakers and acquire a new brake vacuum hose, and then finally to eurocarparts for a pre cat lambda sensor and fuel and oil filter.

Let's just say my wallet is seriously hurting at the minute.
