What did you and your MK2 do today?

Fitted new front discs and pads which was well overdue by the state of the old gear haha.

Took me about 2.5 hours due to the drivers side torx screw (which holds the disc on) rounding off an having to be drilled out. Also due to stopping for the occasional downpour lol.

Drivers side took about an hour and a half but passenger side was done in under half an hour.

Took it out for a wee blast to try and bed them in a bit, they smoked a bit for a while but started to feel better after 10-15 mins.

My Leon started on the button from the airport like a typical morning to work. Also I need to do pads and discs all round and need to watch the pennies after paying for a service as well as aircon service. Everything is so much £! Driving the Mrs a1 at every opportunity to preserve the Leon on the jobs a bit

Yeah they were terrible. They weren't even mentioned as advisories on the MOT a month or so ago lol.

Glad they're done now though.

Looks good. Personal preference - but I put a few small selt tappers in the corner of where the back centre piece starts so it follows the bumper line a little better. Might be worth considering

What splitter is that? Not been on here for a while.

Last splitter I seen mentioned on here was from company on Facebook I think.

Lost a jacking cover the other day not happy. It was my good one too. The other was broken and the wrong colour.

Got my new one through so painted it yesterday and fitted just now.

Wasn't too bad in the end

Let's just hope these stay on. The others were drilled and held on with metal wires. I'll have to make sure it replace the wire more often to prevent it snapping.

If it's not in the way or you don't need the cash I would keep it personally. Even if you just sorn it and make it like new again while not being used

Do they fall off or get nicked? Be tempted to drill a hole and cable tie mine on
