Dunno how you people can wait so long to get mapped

A few reasons really:

Having come from a 1.2tsi, a 2.0tdi 170 was quite powerful
I'm still only 20 so insurance with declared map was expensive
Didn't have the money to map it either as my student loan doesn't really provide for modifying cars
Car is still under manufacturers warranty, didn't want to void that too soon incase of any issues.

My old 1.2tsi got mapped and that improved it drastically, I'm expecting good things from a cr170 map :)

Well I didn't really see the point in mapping a 1.2 Clio...

But yeah my insurance has just renewed so I've declared a remap and will get it done :)

The defender td5 is also mapped, so much torque!

Just cleaned the motor. Two bucket method. Still waiting for my polisher machine to arrive. So can't do it that way. So its just had a thorough clean. Inside and out

insurance due 7th june, time to start shopping about......

Ive always found admiral the best especially the multi car policy. Just insured my car and my partners for a total of £308 for the pair. Fully Comprehensive with protected no claims.

I paid £510 for the FR with remap declared. Includes 20k and business use and various extra options. Was 26 at the time with 8 years NCD and 3 points. I thought it was good at the time (compared to previous premiums), but will be pushing for much better come September though!

Specsavers have loads of offers on mate...

Haha I was reading something about April at the time. Oops.

I've just renewed mine for £930, £100 more than last year.

I have added more mods to it, business insurance and 17k miles rather than 10k as we, so no surprise it's gone up really.

Elephant by far the cheapest for me.
