Out of curiosity is your car Nevada White or Candy White? It looks stunning either way :)

Car in good need of a clean this weekend. Some new Gtechniq products arrived so time to enjoy the BH weekend soon. :)

Excuse for a gratuitous close-up from when it was clean. Yes I individually microfibre dry each grille insert. :D

U get your wheel sorted??

Nah. Living with it for the moment.

I don't have them but have sat in them at the media launch. I personally don't think they are worth the money unless:

a) you plan on keeping the car longer than 3 years (e.g. not on a PCP)
b) you plan on track driving / like a loon all the time

Whilst they would have been nice as standard, the normal seats are perfectly comfortable and for the asking price of the buckets I personally am happy without them.

You still can't spec the buckets on the seat website, so I'm not convinced they will be immediately available on MY15 cars. I admit it is the one thing that disappoints me about the MK3, I really think the one piece seats suit the style of a Cupra. I'm sure the standard seats will be fine, but I'll always think of them as a downgrade on the MK2.

Just that you will get more of your money's worth if you are keeping the car for longer as you will see little back for the seats at resale time.

I hear the LED's are supposed to pretty good. How do you find them compared to halogen or xenon lights?

Not done much night driving, but they are certainly brighter and clearer than the xenons were, and they were very good.

LEDs certainly are the way to go. Plus they look cool ;)

Great, look forward to seeing for myself. In fairness, the last car had halogen lights and I never had any complaints with those. I agree the LED's look good lit up though! Nice picture.

Hey Scott, the Cupra looks really nice, you must spend a lot of time cleaning it! How are you finding the DSG box? Did you come from a manual? Interested in your thoughts since you've had the car a few weeks now.
Cheers, Rob...

Ta. Yes pretty much weekly at the moment. :) I'm sure the novelty will wear off at some point.

DSG is great. First time with one. Spend all the time in drive as sport is lairy, but when I want to floor it, pop it into sport and whilst in Cupra mode it is just mental. Day to day driving the DSG is a blessing. Would go for it again.
