Ta. Yes pretty much weekly at the moment. :) I'm sure the novelty will wear off at some point.

DSG is great. First time with one. Spend all the time in drive as sport is lairy, but when I want to floor it, pop it into sport and whilst in Cupra mode it is just mental. Day to day driving the DSG is a blessing. Would go for it again.

That's good to know thanks Scott, I've always had manuals but test drove a dsg and didn't think it was that bad. Flappy paddles was quite fun! But wasn't sure how much it takes over if having a bit of fun, test drive was fairly reserved, I'm getting on a bit now, so don't do that very often now mind you :)

Salesman wasn't interested in helping me when I mentioned the missing 280 badge yesterday. Suggested I speak to Seat customer services.

I won't let it spoil the awesomeness of our new car though :D

SEAT have cocked up a bit with this one. The badge definitely was a last minute addition (a welcome one) that so far has only made it onto the initial press cars.

As you say though. Doesn't make the car any slower or handle any worse for it ;)

I'm relaxed about it. Love the understated / sleeper vibe with this car and lack of 280 badge does not really bother me. I'm just waiting for the weather to let up so I can have a good thrash on local roads. Rained almost constantly since we got our car home.

Just got a phone call from Seat Customer Care. They are going to post me a badge when they are available in July and arrange to have it fitted at a dealer local to me. Happy with that. Much better than the response I got from the supplying dealer anyway.

Just realised the "P" is for Portugal, not Poland. Doh!

Nice car anyway. I am jealous of your badge.

The funny part is that as I was walking towards the car I was explaining to the dealer the problem with the “280” badges. When we arrive at the back of the car and I saw the badge I just told the guy “Well, forget about that… this already has the badge!” :D
