Do you have any friends in Germany that could source a leon cupra 4 for you. Bring it back to Blighty and get it converted back to RHD and stick a super charger on it.
A lot of hassle though, a Leon Cupra R then? I prefer the mk1 as they have a very similar fell to the mk1 jetta I had. Very progressive break away of cornering grip and ability to throttle steer when it's on the limit. The mk2/05 on has a suspension setup that maybe gives greater cornering speeds but once you reach the limits it can just let go, usually at the back end.
