My dad was looking at one for the house. he bought this one, and i just had to see if i could get it to work in the car.

Works but Sound quality isn't as good as wired. but blaming that on it being a cheap ebay jobbie. I'm now looking at getting a better quality one come payday.
Simple to install, (iphone Method) plug the lead from connects2 into the black box, then pair with bluetooth on the phone. press play then select the adaptor as the speaker.
Looks pretty nifty when you get in the car press play on the phone and it comes through the speakers.

Bypassed my n249 valve and removed spare wheel. Found some hidden aggression on boosting. Accelerates harder. Nice cheap improvement! Although still get boost dumps on low boosting..not sure if thats just the dv need adjusting

I think I've bypassed my n249 hope I've done it correctly it seems to hold boost better now and the revs go up in a more linear way, before it would go up and down under acceleration

One will be getting ordered come payday drekly sir! The only bad thing about the connects2 is how short the aux wire is... Does it recognise the phone every time you get back in?

What dv?

I have the Split R. I have had a little teething problems with it when fitting. I followed he guide to how many clicks (16 ish) but the piston would 'click/bounce' So i turned the dial clockwise fully and went back some. So at present I can't see the piston on tick over, does that mean it's fully open?

I removed my split-r as it was an expensive boost leak.
You had to use all the boost or it was gone made town driving really lumpy, back to the Bosch and the car pulls smooth and consistent.

They are not by any means perfect, but I'm happy enough with my split r.
Try:
Anti clockwise till it stops,
Then turn it 19 clicks clockwise
Then if you get limp mode,
Back (anti clock) one click at a time, engine off,
ReStart and try again.. Worked for me in the end

6 months rent today, hope she appreciate it!

Drained coolant and replaced with g12+ & changed the thermostat. The old was covered in in brown stuff. Infact I think it all needs a clean. Will wyns coolant flush get rid of the crap inside?

Been out in the car today and it was sounding terrible, a really nasty vibration from the exhaust. Got home, let it cool and had a look underneath. Looks like its sheared a securing rod of the (aftermarket) exhaust and pulled out the oem hanger. Exhaust rear of the cats currently only held up by oem runbber between the rear of the back box and the tail pipe :(
