When would one use "ftw"?

Is it like "innit"? I use innit...but only as a shortcut for "isn't it?".
What I don't get is...
"She as gotz a well fit arse innit"

Need a new tcs button still . No way im driving in this snow !! Saw a nice a3 smash into kurb by me yday and the both drivers side wheels were bent inwards . The bloke was gutted but at the same time he was driving like a twat !!

Haha that's very true, it makes no sense!

I've never used FTW but isn't it something people say if something is meant to be awesome?!

For example my friend recently bought a BMW and said in a message 'BMW FTW' so I assume it means he's happy with it. Lol.

It's all crap anyway. Don't understand text or gangsta/chav talk!

Personally I think saying FTW has the opposite affect. It may as well be changed to FTL.

FTW = 'For The Win'. As above, I think it's if someone likes something or something does well or anything like that. That's what i gather from what I've heard a few people say.

Question guys.
I have a chance to get some XYZ coilovers for £250 (Real good deal)
but cant decide if I should get them or get my car painted to look like this:
