Cheers mate. swerved to avoid a Virgin van who decided he wanted ALL of the road by our house and misjudged how close I was to kerb-which slopes outwards at that point for some strange reason-old type square faced kerbs if you know what I mean. gutted. the car wasn't the only thing that was blue at that point!Feel your pain

I caught the kerb (seems like a current trend) the other day... made a loud grinding sound and scuffed them up a bit - no excuse I was being lazy.
However, I have a horrible feeling lately that the steering is really light... For example I'm going over a bump in the road and it feels as if I have to hold the wheel a lot more. Or if I put my foot down, its like the steering wants to go off to one side. Obviously in this weather its more slippy, but doesn't feel right.
Not sure if i'm being paranoid and thinking about it too much, but could that happen after clipping the kurb?
