Just an update: coil pack fitted and that error codes gone. The CANBUS error code is still there and causing issues. When driving it you can only get a few hundred metres until all the engine management lights etc flash up again. The dealer is refusing to investigate further until ALL electrical mods have been removed. So all LEDs, sub woofer, stereo etc, good job my parents are travelling tomorrow so I can get my stereo brought over. Gutted to say the least. No idea when I'll get it back now

It is yeah, absolutely gutted, makes you feel like just getting rid of the car and changing brand. I'm going home tomorrow but the car won't be, it'll be left here until they fix it. Got to pay £55 for the original stereo to be fitted because I don't fancy messing with it, then the work will commence. To make things worse I won't have a courtesy car, and can't be insured on my parents policies

Liverpool washing their hands of a problem again, that isn't like them...
I don't understand why that would bring on the CEL again though, the problem must be related to the misfire, because you never had the CEL on before the misfire, right? Which means the canbus error has been triggered by the engine fault. So why they are asking you to remove you stuff is beyond me.
Where they any more specific about the error code? I can't figure out what it is.

Seems like they are being extremely unhelpful with you mate.
If they think the radio is part of the problem it would only take them 10 mins to disconnect it.
You'd of thought that would be part of their fault elimination anyway.
Can't see how that's being the management light on etc.
I've once seen something similar on a Fiat and it was one coil pack spiking the system.
Have they only replaced one coil pack? It would have been a good idea to substitute the other coils first before digging into a fault which occurred at the same time as one coil went off.
They've all done the same mileage and same age.
No idea mate, but yeah they are being unhelpful. Basically as far as they're concerned, they're done with the car until I put my original stereo back in, so I've taken the keys and left the car in their car park haha.
Tomorrow morning I'm gonna go pick it up and limp to warrington IMG, if I don't make it the AA will be out to tow me there. I've been in contact with SEAT customer care who are sending a case number to warrington so they will be authorised to work on it as their initial reaction was 'we won't get paid due to it being started by liverpool'. So i've sorted that side. All LEDs have been removed, HIDs removed, sub woofer disconnected. So just the original stereo to go back in then its ready for them to work on. Talking to the service people there today they had a response for everything I asked instantly, they were on the ball. More than I can say about Liverpool. So hopefully things will get better.

There were no issues at all with any errors what so ever before the misfire. The misfire occurred then all the dash lights came up. Because the error is canbus they want everything that may have been added to the can bus circuit removed, so all canbus wiring is as it was when it came out of the factory. They can't be more specific because they're bloody useless!!
I've taken your advice and tomorrow I will shift it to Warrington one way or another...

They said they've cleared the CANBUS fault code 3 times now and it's still returning. When the AA man scanned it there was only one code came up, so unless SEAT's software is so much better, the CANBUS code has appeared since going into the dealer.
I'm a bit gutted about having to put everything back to standard but I suppose it's not a huge deal, only 10-15mins to swap all the LED bulbs out. The stereo is the biggie but it could be a lot worse.
The P0304 - misfire in cylinder 4 code has gone. IIRC he said 'There are two fault codes showing, one is related to the coil pack and the other is CANBUS. We have ordered the replacement part for the coil pack which will be delivered tomorrow, but we cannot check the CANBUS error until we have fitted the new part'.

Cheers guys, I saw them today and they seem on the ball, also told them that they've been recommended to me to get the job done properly
Hopefully that's all it will be, I had some plans for it next week too
On stage 2+ on revo mapping the standard valve cannot sustain the requested fuel pressure. WIth the RS4 valve the requested pressure can be maintained and surpassed
