I'm not sure on that ,but when I spoke to robdon he told me that you need headlight washers for h.i.d's and soon this side of the border vosa are going to be clamping down on this area too so if your car has h.i.d's and they don't have washers and auto leveling it will be an m.o.t. failure. I don't know how the old jap cars imported with h.i.d's are gonna get round this?, but someone will.

hids need auto leveling, projector lenses and washers fitted as you said, imports and other cars that have them fitted as standard should be ok
well i replaced yet another ignition coil and found out i need new rocker cover seals, didnt realise there is also one inside to go around the coils or spaks whatever. got tol thats possibly leaking and making oil run under the coils which is why they keep blowing.
but on the plus side i fit my fly eye tints

.I would say they are fairly easy to install...the only hard part for me was when you try to take the film around the curve of the lights.....when you do that the film bends and creates potential creases so its a case of taking your time with it.
not going to lie it took me about an hour and a half purely because i wanted them perfect i do have ever so slight crease but they arent noticable unless your nose is on the lights
