The new Bilstein B4 shocks & KW 40mm lowering springs arrived today, and therefore I finally got the car lowered
I will upload photos shortly as PhotoBucket is playing up this evening.

I'm absolutely over the moon with it, I really am. I'm amazed now too that the ride in general is more comfortable now with literally no banging over bumps or noises, as opposed with just the alloys on the standard suspension prior to today. The handling has been totally transformed, and the only thing that I have noticed and as to be expected is that the ride is a little bit bouncy which I noticed on my way home on a 70mph A road, but I suppose it may settle down properly in time. I've been told by my mechanic mate who fitted everything that the front may lower a little bit more when it settles, but either way - I'm chuffed.
Here is a link to my post when I first had the alloys fitted on the standard suspension last weekend for a comparison: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showpost.php?p=3997723&postcount=2386
Massive thanks to Damian @ DPM Performance for his advice & looking after my order for the KW springs!
I've decided that I'm going to start my own RR thread, so keep a look out

WHY would you expect a bouncy ride with Bilsteins & KW 40mm drop springs ?
Did you fit the OE spec Bilsteins or the Sport ones ?
The sport ones, it's not really bouncy but I only noticed it ever so slightly when driving along the 70mph A road. I imagine if someone else drove it with more lowering experience than I have then they properly wouldn't see it as an issue.

Reason i ask is I have the sport ones(think i advised you earlier on specs),but i have the Vogtland 35mm springs & mine is anything but bouncy.I can hardly get the front to push down by putting my weight on it,but ride is fantastic.
My car is going back in to garage on Friday to have new wishbones, droplinks, ball joints & ARB bushes,so full front end has been all changed and should be even better.
Could you do me a favour and measure from the road up to the wheel arches through the centrepoint of the wheel(back & front) and give me the height as yours now sits ?
Cheers, looks good and same colour as mine too..
Yes you did advise me mate, after asking Damian last week he said that the KW 40mm springs on the sport Bilstein B4 dampers will be fine to use so I went for them. Funny you should mention about putting weight on all 4 corners as my mechanic mate did this when he finished the job and he even said as well that it feels spot on, really solid and hard to push down, so coming to think of it I may be exaggerating a bit when describing the ride to be slightly bouncy as when on the A road earlier, I had a thread from here pop up in my head about a bouncy ride after fitting springs. I am truly pleased with the ride though.
Yes of course mate, I will do some measurements for you tomorrow
