K04 MK3 Ibiza Cupra Track Ready - RIP

No updates but

Since I've fitted my massive cooler the cars been really laggy and sluggish, I put it down to the cooler being to big for the K03. Then the car started back firing extremely loud and spitting flames when I let Off the throttle :) (me and berg thought it sound awesome haha) so scanned the car and had 10+ faults ranging from cat to lambda to ignition circuits and n249

Turns out I've had 4 faulty coils for awhile. Was missing or anything tho just causing 4 codes, 1 per cylinder, which has just got worse lol

4 new coiles and cars completely transformed, no more lag, spins through the gears and seems to hold boost better :)

Alot happier with the car now can't wait for the K03S to go on :D

Hmm been away on hols came back and took the car down to great Yarmouth for the bank holiday weekend and walk into problems! all the way there and back! Boosting only 6 psi(guessing it's limp
Mode which wouldnt go by turn the car off and on) the journey weren't too fun lol
And having lambda, cat, running lean and the usual n249 and sai codes and smelling of fuel
I wasnt feeling too good either lol

Cooking my brakes tonight wasn't a good thing to do either as my discs were already shot and now my ebc yellows are shot , being tring to find discs since I've had the car but there so expensive :( thinking of Hi-spec ones maybe as there half the price of AP racing ones

Guessing it's the bank 1 lambda at fault (thought it was maf to start with) which I'll now have to sort when I do my turbo!and I've ordered some new engine mounts too so got to fit them fiddley things aswell!

I've also got to pick my newly painted bumper up this week :)

And ive got some templates being mocked up to be made in some thing special ;)

Yeah id say so, from when i stripped my yellow one we dropped the front subframe and the engine just came right forward so loads of access down the back of it.

Dont think the engine would have moved that much with the vibra engine and gearbox mounts on to be honest

Looking good now mate no far to go now :)
