Managed to get a video of the sound now I had the decat fitted.
Damn it is loud, too loud for my liking really but my god it sounds mean. The DSG pops and bangs are unreal, its like a gun shot on gear changes.

You can hear it on the vid a little but it sounds much better in real life. I was also changing quite early at 5k, at higher revs the dsg pops even louder. I could'nt stretch the legs as there were speed humps every 50m so I could only get it up to second gear :p

You can also see the 6000k HIDs too, they are superb.

That exhaust does sound nice :D

Also are the HIDs the terminator kit from HIDs direct? If so, i like mine too :)

and finally, is that your old fiat punto on your photobucket ;)

Thanks man, yeah they are the same ones :) The light output is great but i need to find a way of setting them higher. They don't go out very far on the road if you understand me. I have tried all 3 settings and non of them are any good :/

And nope thats my friends photobucket, he recorded it because I was driving so he put it on his. Thats why he named it "Bens Car " :p
My last car was an alfa mito 1.4 turbo

Ah okay haha!

Its easy to lift them higher! Open your bonnet and above the headlight clusters are the adjusters. I think they're a torx, might be wrong though. You have to access them through little holes in the frame. Two on each headlight, one for ligher lower one for left and right. You'll figure it out lol. I did mine before :)

Your last car was a Alfa mito! You've came right up in the world from that punto with an Alfa badge on.

Controversial.

Now I have a poor mans Golf....

Worked on fiat and Alfa for 16 years and know how terrible they are mate.
Mito is just a punto underneath same engine and box as a punto t-jet
Don't get me wrong when they first came out I thought they looked and drove well but seeing the build quality and the faults that all changed.
Leon maybe a poor mans golf but more stylish and sporty
You've definitely moved up a few places in terms of build quality and reliability.
I had 1 fiat and 4 alfas before I seen the light and won't be having anymore

Hahah I was only kidding.

The leon is so much better than the mito. The mito has better styling but the build quality is at different ends of the spectrum. I didn't have any major problems with it but I did hear of a few people who did! Leon drives, goes and feels a lot better.
I would only consider another alfa if their quality improved drastically, I will go and look at the new mito when it comes out though providing they make a hot version :)

Good man! Had my two fitted the other day, love them!:D

They're quieter than the ContisportContact 3's that I had previously. As I've only done about 50 miles on them I've not had a chance to test them a bit more aggressively.

If you Stage 2+ guys are happy with them then I'm sure my meagre 170bhp won't have any issues! :D

had the REVO stage 1 done . . . tbh, im not too sure. with all the hype everyone says how it transforms the car ive not noticed a massive difference.

my mate who was passenger said its noticeable but im not too convinced. ill have a real burn around town tonight and see how i feel after that.

What sort of bhp increase is there supposed to be?

Didn't have a sneaky map on there already by any chance??

car was 2nd hand from SEAT car was used prior by a female worker.

it rolled 213hp as "stock" on a rolling road when i first got the car as i thought it felt strong for a 2.0T car. but heard that they tend to roll over the 200 stock marker anyway.
