Jarre its really coming along now! What colour temp hids did you get?

About your grill, iv always wanted to try and cut the original slats an S out and bring the honeycomb forward so it sits flush where the slats used to be. Do you think this is possible or would the honeycomb be to small. Its an alternative because we cant get an FR style grill.

Gave her a good wash yesterday as she was very dirty. Now we are finally experiencing some decent weather she should hopefully stay clean lol.

Cheers! I might put a readers ride up so i know what i've done to it, my mods are all cosmetic though and to a standard car, so i don't know whether to or not...

As for the grill i'm not sure. I think the insert is big enough that it would sit flush, however i wouldn't like to try due to how expensive both parts are if i was to get it wrong :(
I agree though, its a shame we can't have a honeycomb because the bottom grill and fog light grills are honeycomb :(

Jarre which HIDs did you go for? Easy to fit? Output good?

I would dump that exhaust though buddy, twin pipes from the fr would be a lot better :)

Anyway, I test drove a Cupra R today... its comforting to know a stock R feels slower than mine :) Plus I have decided I wont return to a manual for a very long time. Dsg makes even a slow car feel fast. I did feel more in control in the R though, lovely lovely interior too and amazing brakes :(

Yeah I know what you mean I had a stage 2 fr and test drove my R and though it's way way slower than my fr was.
But how many Cupra's and R's are standard.

Well yeah exactly a remapped one would embarrass me! Not many R's on the roads mind, lots of cupras though :)

Yeah dead easy to fit! I surprised myself. I managed to install them without having to drill a hole, just got them through the side of the cover. Also rested the ballasts somewhere secure so they won't fall out either!

Output is really good, love then! So so much brighter!
They're the terminator kit from HIDs direct, no errors.

I bought a twin tip exaust but its too small, looks silly, and left it too late to return it too :( i want twins :( mum and dad say the one i've got on looks good enough. If you can suggest one to me i'd be grateful :)

Fitted my Lockwood Door sills and can say that I am well impressed with the outcome and would recommend them to anyone. Will put pics up into the Lockwood sills thread later on
