Also we are working on a solution for the WG vband adapter. to get it working as it should.

Probably we will try to put Helicoil on the adapter so we can get it sit where it should and get this problem solved for the last time..
as the bolts keep unscrewwing it self and rsult is blown gasket...

We thought of that also. But mounted it yesterday and should be in place even if the bolts unscrew little it should sit tight. but time will tell..

Thinking of a tubular manifold later on instead of this ATP that so far only has given me headache

So. I just spent the best part of a few hours reading this whole thread.

Here are my observations.

1. This car is so good, I think I'd let you bum me.

Now if that doesn't tell you how good this car is, I don't know what will.

Been Away on a short vacation last week came home today

And i went directly to my Tuner and talked about when we can finally go on dyno now that exhaust leaks are sorted. And Probably tommorow or on Thursday we are going to spend all night mapping. And i wont mount the Okada Plasma coils until we have a mapp ready and then do dyno test with OEM coilpacks against the Plasma Direct Coils

Also will test different gaps and Different plugs.

I have copper NGK now that we found have given best performance so far.
But i also have ordered a 4 different Champion plugs, i really hope they will arrive before dyno.
If not i have 8 of the NGK so we can have Fresh plugs when comparing the coilpacks and gapps.

and also we have a Set of Denso Iridiom Racing line plugs that i hope will work as good as they cost.

Tested Denso IK22 IK24 before but they didnt perform as good as we wanted.

Looking forward to test the Coilpacks soon and see how they perform.


Also managed to ac tivate the TOG sensor in to FIS display now.

I failed in VCDS as i couldnt acces the controlmodule for Speedo even tough i had security acces code for it. And we started and connected to the VAS Computer but time ran away. And today after i came to my Tuner V-tech and showed the plasma coils they did a Beta test file and activated it in the Software. So the funktion is there just needs to be correctly activated. And should be able to be done with VAG VAS computer.

It atleast worked for me.

Sorry for taking the "short" way this time.
But can try to find out in VAS also next time how to do it there also

But now we atleast now that it can be done on our cars also.

I can ask, but I don't think it will be something Revo can help me out with to be honest.

If you could get me as much information as possible, itd be much appreciated. Is this VAS computer what the main Seat dealer has or something else?

Activating it with VCDS i failed with. as i couldnt acces right module.
I could avtivate TOG on Channel 39 or if it was 38? But no readings and so on FIS or in VCDS.

Edit: Yes VAS is the Official VAG Computer kinda like the VCDS but it can do more things and is connected to VAG servers and so

PS i Pmed you the things ive planned to test to get it working before we did it this way.
Didnt post here as i dont want to post wrongfull information. and im pretty hopefull and think it is the right way to do.
If i can confirm that it works i can post up so all can see, or if you find time to test and se that it works before i have found an occasion to test it..

Please mate if you could include some detailed instructions too so that if it comes to it I can go to my local dealers to see if they would do it for me.

Yes, I activated TOG on channel 39. I also recoded cluster for fixed maintenance but with TOG. It was a case of changing something like a 0 to a 2 (off the top of my head) with still no luck as you know.

Fingers crossed. To get this little thing enabled will make mine more or less complete!!!!

I'm sure its in thread somewhere but to save some time, roughly what bhp and torque is this car now running and is it still on the garret gt30? have you found 4 wd much better on the track than fwd [even with a diff] after allowing for extra weight and drag etc??
