Not very good. Too much wheel spin. :(

Think it's fair to say you have way too much power and torque going through front wheels only for it to do itself justice on a strip. Even with stickier rubber you'll find only "feathering" of throttle at best in first and second and then still some spin initially when you floor it in third! Never do itself justice against 4wd cars with similar or even quite a bit less power until your well into 3rd,4th etc. You planning to do some track days? as without a doubt it will come into it's own then:)

The Cams are suppose to be fantastic mate, i have a set of the IECVA1's to go in mine.... they sent a bit of paper with the cams saying about a 100bhp gain on a GT30 sized turbo and more expected on GT35-40's so i reckon it'll really help on my turbo flowing more than a 40 :)

There are some build threads on VWvortex with the CVA2's fitted mate..

I also got my SEM last week, quality looks good - it's a shame i ordered it in January really as i would have snapped your hand off for your original one.

Been having a good in depth look at the SEM mani and I've noticed something that makes me wonder.

I have a ported largeport head, a largeport SEM mani, and a largeport phenolic spacer but visually (I haven't measured yet) the ports on the head appear larger than that of the SEM and spacer, the question I ask myself is is it worth the effort of getting it all port matched????

I think I'm going to give it a try with an avc-r first to see what that can do that's £400 in comparison to about £4,000 lol.

The ie cams look very good, not in stock ATM though. Will give me something to do over the winter though!

Going to be ordering a new set of tyres soon too.
