I pulled into a Shell garage the other day as I had about -10 miles left in my tank... I got the wrong pump to start with, saw that their V-Power diesel was 8p/l dearer than their fuelsave, and shifted pumps! I stuck some Millers in instead.

Is it reaaaaaaally worth that extra cost?
Probably not for a diesel motor mate but wouldn't use standard Unleaded in mine!:D

...and on its way it declared "Breakfast Dumper is inbound for gun-run".

p.s. You don't need an excuse to clean the car ;)... it can never be too clean :) haha.

I do fancy a remap ...TEMP-TA-TION!

march 2010 Milltek was fitted, its since been sold on

Andy - I'm not sure where you've seen rust on your milltek exhaust because there is not even a spot of it on the one I've bought from you. Steel doesn't have the mirror polished look any more simply because it was used for 2 years. All it needs is a metal polish and is gonna look like new again. Definitely no rust on it.

Was going to give it a wash but rain stopped that so went for a blast instead. Unfortunately the 'Drive at 35 in a 60 limit' Club are out in full force today. Headed for the dual-carriageway to find the '60 mph right-hand lane hoggers' on a day trip.

Called it a day and drove home...

That looks real good!

Have you seen the front splitter that has been posted on here? Looks good, I'm going to get one.

Fitted some aftermarket speakers and disabled my tweeters! The sound is so much clearer now, just going to wait till they bed in and then they're getting blasted!

Which speakers did you go for in the end?

Well i spent a fair while looking them up, looking up reviews, etc. and was still very undecided.
I really didn't want to order some before listening to them, because if i don't like them i can't return them, as to find out if i like them or not i fitted them, therefore they can't be sold again!
So, went in to my favourite shop (haha), halfords, and had a good look round. To be fair my local store has been much better recently, they have been restaffed! The guy that fitted my JVC unit a couple of weeks ago seems to know his stuff and he recommended the Vibe Slick 6's. I listened to them for 10 mins or so, and numerous overs while i was at it and decided that to be fair, they did sound good! I went away and thought about it for a couple of days again.

Today went into a different store (they had 2 sets in stock) and bought two sets, then back to my local store to get the sak 3103 adaptors.

EDIT: Here's the link, http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/...uctId_819491_langId_-1_categoryId_265870#tab1

The speakers cost £45 a pair, currently there is a promotion, so got them for £85, then also got 10% student discount, so they were £76.50. I then fitted them this afternoon, took my a while to modify the first plastic speaker adaptor (removing the lip), sanding it down and all sorts, I then realised the lip was attached separately, so a set of pliers could pull it off much quicker, and looked a lot neater! Was a bit fiddly to fit as i did it in the dark garage (chucking it down with rain). However they're now in and like i say, sound very nice. So much more depth and clarity than the originals. I compared them when i installed the front right one. The standard sounds so muddy and horrible!

All in all, well worth my money, time and effort to install them! Happy :D

Jarre...

What car do you have mate? Would it be easy enough to take the standard ones out and put these in if it wasn't dark? :D
