I was waiting for the photos to be put up on here
Does look shiny shiny

Yeah i knew you would be, just waiting for Barn to notice.:D

Yum! :D

Nice to see bits and pieces coming together Phil :)

Ah, its been long enough coming but i am really pleased, i have all the bits now so its just down to planning the swap, i have a few other things i want to do at the same time, new outer cv joints and wheel bearings and i have a LCR master brake cylinder and ABS unit to put on, i found that the brake pipes coming from the master to the ABS unit where twice the size of the Cupra's, this has to be for a good reason, i then managed to get all the bits from a 36K LCR so thought i would swap them over, the LCR ABS unit should help with my over sensitive ESP which i have found is coded to wheel size and brake disc size and ever since i put on Bill's 330mm discs the ESP comes on when ever i think about going around a corner, the LCR unit has a code unique to the LCR and i know that an LCR with the same wheel size and discs doesn't have the same problems.

Its calmed down lots after changing the rear beam bushes, engine mounts and using different tyres but used to do it all the time on bends

Ah, no well maybe, i saw a really useful thread on Vortex about swapping clocks and apparently you can swap immo3 clocks on to immo2 cars and as long as you have the stalk and run a wire from the back of the clocks to the stalk the comp will work, but i need to get my vag tacho working first (need a copy of windows XP) so i can get my SKC code, and find which connector to run the wire from and too, i know there is a spare connector on the stalk so there should be a spare on the back of the clocks?? watch this space...

Good progress there Phill, and FYI i had the same problem with the sump and the ARP stud kit, now't to worry about at least you found it mate.
It was thankfully Bill who highlighted the problem in his section.
