Sorry for no answer in a while.. Been so busy with the car last weeks as i had to get it ready for Elmia custom car show, Swedens biggest car show. i got atleast one price there
and also started to work again so it was little stressy to get everuthing ready.
The car was at my Tuner Vtech, for some Software mapping.
But it started to leak exhausts somewhere...
later that day i located the leak xD
not much left... heres the gasket betven Wg and Exhaust manifold
All my fault i missed to torque one bolt
i have now changed the gasket but havent had time to get it to finaleze the mapping yet but will soon.
but car is rooling on the streets again but now as a AWD Leon
Short brief of what i've been doin the last weeks..
I wanted my rims look like new again so i changed them to my other winter rims and left the others at the powder coater. not much room for the brakes behind the 18" OZ
here the rims are powder coated Gloss black again
also the car needed some finish again . And I hate to wax and polish the car so we just repaint it instead
Sadly i only had 4 days left to show when i decided it needed a paint job.. Why can i never learn to do things i time
3days before show
30hours before show..
And thats only the outside.. the whole inside left and connect all amps and subwoffers etc etc.
as we took everything out when doing the AWD conversion.
After that i had to go and put tyres on the rims and mount the HRE rims on the car again.
After that clean out the car that hasnt been cleaned since last year haha
And get some new Sponsor vinyls cutted and mounted..
no slep for 2½ days and i came to the show with 2 hours to go
After 4 days of show it ended upp with one price, Exhibitors choice..
im the guy in the middle that looks little dissoriented with Pirelli
T-Shirt.... xD
Left to do besides Mapping is to Find a ABS Control Module from a Quattro/4-motion car. as the FWD ABS module doesnt work togheter with AWD so no ESP or ABS brakes at the moment. and connect the 3 cables to fuellevel sensor..
besides that everything works fine
