Now running REVO.

Initial thought are;

REVO has more grunt lower down than the APR
REVO tails off quicker at high RPM than the REVO
REVO seems to return higher MPG (but still early days to say for certain)

I was worried about the tyres wanting to spin up with the REVO, but theres very little difference between the APR and REVO from what i've seen so far. Yes the tyres do want to spin up but its easily controlled by introducing the power instead of just planting it.

Ran some logs last night of the REVO and my MAF figures are very similar, boost figures are higher around the 3k-3.5k region and i've gone from having high 6 CF's on the APR to 0.8/2 CF's on the REVO.

So ov course I added 3.0 degrees of timing and re-logged, now getting 5.3CF's and a couple 6CF's dotted around.

Car is feeling quicker everytime I go for a drive so I'm presuming it needs to adjust itself to suit.

Very happy indeed, was a tough choice to swap to REVO as the APR was so driveable in a 2WD car, I've certainly not lost any power with the REVO it just feels more eager to go using lower RPM.

Maybe all the powerflex bushes I changed to made the difference in terms of grip as i'm only using Falken 452's on the front.

Hi chris could you amend the last post to show which holds boost better at the red line please.

Have done! I shall relog in a couple days as I think the car is adapting and getting quicker.

Have a look here: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?p=2603869#post2603869 get a lot of scratches out I thought were not possible with the non matalic. Seems to be softer generally...

Cheers Maz. Thats alot of products used though, but does look very good after you rubbed your special juices into the paintwork.

Those scratches around the door handle are exactly the same as mine, looks gash! Looks a different car afterwards.

Hows the car running now? is it better on revo than APR? better with a new MAF?

Car is running sound as a pound mate, its had some money spend on it over the last couple months. Cambelt kit, oil, filter, plugs, MAF.......temp sender, two new coilpacks on standby.

REVO or APR? Hmm, hard one to answer. I like them both, I'd say REVO for crazyness and APR for smooth progressive power.

REVO is looking good now I've managed to drive it on half decent temp tarmac, REVO was so smooth low down so it was alot eaiser to drive in tricky conditions.

Any difference with new MAF? Yes, slight difference in that when I'm sat at 20-30mph on an incline and I want to accelerate slightly I find that the engine is alot quicker to deliver the torque when I press down on pedal slightly.

I've run some logs with the new MAF and got 206g/s but I need better run, my redline run was straight after lots of slow driving and not sure if the intercooler got enough cold air before the log.

I shall relog and post when I get chance.

I wish I understood logs!

The more I see the Toyo cooler the more I get tempted, great mods mate

Toyo cooler is great! Turbo is very appreciative of it. :) Thanks :D
