I didn't even check that my car came with one, it expired on 31st jan, I bought it 21st Feb, and only noticed Thursday I had no tax, fortunately the boys in blue hadn't noticed.

Tbh it was the last thing i was thinking about, I just wanted to drive the feckin thing! Now I can't afforf to put petrol in it till payday :/

well i been busy the weekend.
test fitted my fmic from turbo revs (not recommended) as i need to weld a map sensor flange and a vac return for the dv. other than this the intercooler is good.
i so far have the cooler mounted and the bumper fits perfectly with minimal cutting.

test fitted my complete exhaust but need a over axel piece made in 3" to complete so have left it stock for a few days.

removed lexus lights and split them and sprayed the chrome black but the lenses where shot so now i have no lenses but they do look mean/moody on a onvi yellow cupra.

3m carbon wrapped door handles and window switches and also glove box handle and some of the center console. its subtle but looks amazing. the door handles where suffering from the peel so this was a much needed upgrade.

i will post a load of pics and start a readers ride soon.

im debating on carbon wrapping the roof.

also i fitted my boost gauge and mounted it in the drivers airvent which is also carbon wrapped lol
but had buzzing so fitted a t restrictor which i ordered incase.

opinions????

Manual Boost Controller

Well I've had overboost problems recently (This was mainly due to me being lazy and not getting another remap after my 0.216 injectors were fitted) and tried everything from fitting a bigger upper intercooler pipe to try and reduce the boost (Didn't work)

Cleaning out the turbo with mr muscle and so on, finally today I've fitted a Powertek Manual Boost Controller (which ive had for a while but never fitted) for my 110 TDI to eliminate boost spikes.

At first i was sceptical about it working but it bloody works a treat!

Power is ALOT smoother. And for the time being will help me with my clogged vanes :p (Need a new turbo).

P.S I need to do a cambelt change any ideas on make of cambelt kit to get?

I'm also stuck with what turbo to get next? was thinking the 130pd but I do really want to break the 200bhp barrier and the 130 aint going to cut it, any ideas guys?

Cheers,

Dom

Well ive had my remapped 180 cupra 2 weeks, bought it already lowered, rs6 rims, cupra r front bumper, coilovers, forge 006 valve, and ive added or done in 2 weeks;

HID headlights
HID foglights
LED sidelight bulbs
LED rear plate bulbs
Pipercross panel filter
Changed oil and filter

Then ordered this week

New crankcase breather to replace split one
Cobra resonated cat back system
stainless de cat
2 new front wishbones
aero wipers.

This weekends jobs are to get the exhaust fitted, wishbones fitted, clean the inside of the alloys and out and wax them, go over the car again with finishing pad on the machine and megs finishing polish, poorboys glaze and wax it.

Then i want satin black SEAT logo badges and window tints.

Im impatient, i have more money than sense, and i get itchy feet too easily. lol

Ill put a pic up, everyone told me to buy milltek id spoken to, or just leave it as it is, but i cant justify paying the best part of a grand for an exhaust, okay you get what you pay for but these Cobra systems are just as well made!
