2nd attempt at fitting my downpipe and de-cat today. snapped 1 nut and 1 was cross threaded  but luckily had another mani gasket so removed turbo and re-tapped and fitted new studs. even tho its for a short term (going bt) toyosports downpipe and de-cat fits a treat. no eml light yet and have done 70miles. there was a funny smell at first. not sure if its the new gaskets burning in lol  will fit the non re center pipe and oval backbox tomorrow as the snapped studs took up my day. and ill also fit my coilovers and tip. still waiting on a map sensor flange to weld on my intercooler pipe. once done a trip to a good mapper :D

D.I.Y Boost gauge

Decided i like the look of the zada-tech gauges but i reckoned i could build it myself a bit cheaper with more functionality. So i brought some stuff anf had a go :p

Just need a manifold absolute pressure gauge now and im in business :)
Cost so far is
arduino £24 (Should have been £60 for the actual board but i reserves some stuff online from maplins and the guy put the top of the range arduino mega adk in the bag instead of the basic uno)
Display £16
map sensor should be about £8 - I'm using a 10k pot to simulate the voltage return
the rest of the bits i had in my electronics box
zada tech gauge is £95

Great fun so far and its helped me learn some programming stuff

Lol yeah one I sober up I'll start a thread up. Tbh I just followed a design off a website and changed a few things, once I've worked out the -ve psi readings and decimal points I'll post a how to.
One I learn the language it should be easy to add extra sensors for intake temp/oil temp/and other shite

finally fitted my cat back after my downpipe the other day. after a bit of cutting here and there and a few clamps later the jobs a goodun. :) i have a non resonated race tube and a oval backbox with minimal baffles and its quite loud tbh lol but it does sound good on full throttle. coilovers and tip next. had a late start from too many cidras last night :p

Washed the car. Puttied, cut, polished and waxed the bonnet and roof. Somehow drained the battery by leaving the radio on for about 5 hours so had to recharge it.

I did this today,

and did the boot one to match.

New front wishbones, as the bushes had detached from the old ones !

Washed, glazed and waxed, cleaned one wheel inside and out and waxed it, couldnt be bothered after that !

Still need to get a better camera than my bb :(

nice mate, you should do the bits inbetween the S body coloured so the S can still be defined (especially on the boot) that way you wont just have a big black rectangle on the boot, just my opinion.

This is my boot badge:

body coloured S black detail. :D
