Maybe  just need to get it myself first. It's the only thing in the engine bay which looks out of place

Spill! :)

I'm getting something end of Jan which will be different to everyone else though so we all have things up our sleeve, lol :p

Yes mate. Did I show you part of the LED that had fallen off one? Now the other one has dimmed! [:@]

Had a big complaint email rant at them last night and got a reply today. Going to send them back once the new one's have arrived.. Hope these are ok. Not having much luck with the LED sidelights so far. Just annoys me having to order yet another set.

Forge posted a pic on their facebook page showcasing some work they doing to a Cupra R / S3 engine. What I find interesting in the pic is sitting top right:

Seems the guys are designing a catch can system. Probably charge silly prices for it but it would still have been nice to get the hose which comes off the engine block and splits into two instead of having separate pieces which are joined with a t-piece. Too late for me but worth a look out for anyone else who is thinking about installing a oil catch can to their cars

All of my parts came for me to do the pcv removal so decided to crack on with it today.

All started off well but quickly became a complete nightmare.

Managed to successfully remove most of the pcv system

Blocked under the manifold with some 8mm silicone hose and m10 bolt

However then disaster struck :(

It became so brittle that as soon as I gripped it the bloody thing snapped into pieces. I rang my not so close Audi who luckily had the part in stock.....phew! Got the part and came back to tackle it some more. By this time I'm cold, slightly annoyed so no pictures from this point onwards unfortunately. I then found the non return valve was solid tight and wouldn't come out I just thought why o why did I not buy a new one. After some time I managed to get it off and put it in place and then got the rest of the hoses all connected up with some ease.

Anyway car is all done, correctly I think!! Went for a drive and it does seem fine but will keep an eye on it for a little while

Want to again say thank you to Richard (RDS) for all the help on doing this. Cheers bud!!

Cheers dude. Benefits are less chances of splits and oil clog up. Have the oil catch can fitted so pointless having the pcv system also

Car feels great at the moment although I think I will get a new non return valve as the one which is currently on there is long and splits into three which I have had to block one end so looks a bit **** (would have to get a pic to show what I'm on about)

Thats a nightmare mate, pleased to see you got it all sorted in the end. Glad I could help:)

t0m the PCV system is prone to splitting, removing it gives you peace of mind ;)
