After a long time home at 20mph I limped monty home

The strip down, lots of grease...

Cracked the cage and it "locked" the joint

But all in all was a great day and I used and abused Vinnie (Astra VXR) for last 2 sessions Currently updating his thread

Had another look tonight and it gets worse, looks like monty and twisted both ends of the driveshaft splines on the NS drive shaft, will be stripping OS down soon

Well been along time since Monty has had any loving.... I thought I better check on him

Still there...

Since I bought Vinnie I thought I would leave Monty for this year.... On the positive side it gives me plenty of time to get ready for 2012....

So a few new goodies Monty has so far after A long trip to see a friend and get a great deal on a few bits

Braided PTFE lines with additional Bosch O44 pump, 2.5 litre swirl pot, normal and high flow filters with Aeroquip throughout...

Aeromotive compact FPR

GT3076r with 4” anti surge inlet and .63 3” V band exhaust

Nortech Manifold with with 44mm waste gate

Started to strip him down...

Turbo Fitted not alot of room here..

Well got a parcel from Adam (DewisMotorsport) today (Cheers for quick turn around) He has modified the inlet to suit the different fuel rail/injectors

Injector Dynamic 1000cc

V6 throttle body after it had been through parts washer

Thats all for now

Little Update:

So had alittle free time today and I need to get a few bits done...

First off was removal of standard inlet manifold and LET loom

All off

Then on to the trial fit Looking good

Then it was time to rebuild NS suspension and I also removed both front wings as I don't want to risk them getting damaged

He is booked in to have downpipe made on Saturday so I'm just sorting a few bits out before....
Little update again...

Got few more bits for him as I wanted this fitted before I got the downpipe made...

New brackets

Cheers to Mike once again Smokey lives on....

Couple of these just incase, Have asked if downpipe can be made without but we will see...

Then it was time to get him loaded up and on his way to Bill at Badger 5 who does all my RR on my cars and I trust alot....
