Nope SEAT UK are skipping it, but MK SEAT want to take it and diagnose first, but have said they will swap the injectors anyway

did you get them replaced for free afterwards?

Yes, all 4 replaced along with wiring loom.

Thats what he told me but my car keeps cutting out when i pull up, its done it about 4-5 times this week

twice this morning :censored:

Funny you should mention that, as I'm sure mine cut out the other week - I just saw battery light and thought, have I stalled but I don't think I did and it's not done it since.

This was after the new injectors too.

MInes booked in for 10th Nov with MK SEAT now

Long time mate?

The 1000 rpm idle is first stage dpf regen, is the fan on when your in traffic?

Me too

It appears that my 56 plate FR has a faulty injector too been told will be just over £700 all in so after reading these posts don't feel too bad.

I had my car booked in yesterday for a diagnostic check which was then sent to SEAT UK who then authorised my garage (Uddingston) to replace all the injectors and loom. They didn't say whether they were dodgy but just glad it's done.
My wifes FR is in today for it's 4th year service inc timing belt and while it's in they will hopefully be doing the injectors too.
Neither of our cars had shown any signs of problems, it was just from reading this forum that highlighted the issue and promted us into getting it checked out.

Nope, seems the same but it was a frosty morning where I am so was not giving it the welly. Once I get out on a longer run in warmer conditions I'll be able to give you more info.....

when the dealer looked at mine the mechanic said it sounds a bit ''tappety'' only very slightly though and he said it may of had an injector fitted before by a none seat dealership and not set up right. could this be the case as its going in on monday to have all 4 done and the loom. could this cause the tappety sound?

Got my car back on Friday, from the dealers with all four injectors replaced and Seat UK picked up the tab!
Now just got to try and get the money back I had to pay to my local garage who recovered the breakdown and diagnosed the original fault.
