I have a MK2 66 plate1.4 FR TSI 150 automatic. I absolutely love the car, had it since January, it's done 45k. When I bought it it had a slight judder on idle not really noticeable. I hate the start stop so have it running. The revs dont change at all, it just has a judder.
So had it to SEAT for full service, plugs replace, and an engine flush. Since the flush it's juddering worse.
Back to SEAT twice, told me there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it's just a characteristic and some cars do it. The car runs perfectly other than a noise when it flips into 2 cylinder. (Louder than normal)
I also had timing belt replaced at 43k.
Stuck with it, really got on my nerves so I went to a local VW specialist/enthusiast garage, great reviews, they specialise in remapping, injectors etc.
They said VW group thought it would be a good idea for some models to push through unburnt fuel when the car is at low power which causes the engine to judder because it's working harder. I mentioned about getting my injectors cleaned but they said there was no need.
Now I'm not a car person, I know nothing about cars, I've thrown a lot of money at it since January, but what I can't understand is why anyone would manufacture a car that judders.
There are no error code, no stored codes, no misfires.
Can anyone shed some light on it, or can anyone recommend a garage in Preston(lancs) or local areas that can help me and not make me feel like I'm overreacting
