Car is coming along nicely Mo :D

I'm the guy who sold you some parts, from Sutton Coldfield

You mentioned you are finding it hard to get a decent aluminium welder to do some IC piping.

There is a bloke i know up close to Bham Uni in Selly Oak who fixes alloys, he does a lot of fabrication, mainly things like motorcycle petrol tanks.

His number is 0121 414 1794, can't remember his name  But just say that you fixed an alloy for a friend and i am sure he can sort something out for you.

Going to start a readers ride thread of my own soon, got quite a few plans for my LCR

Thanks Bro, put in a lot of effort in to this car / project, and it's paid off. I'm pleased with the end results.

Salaam's Bro, I was about to call you the other day, I need some odd bits here and there, please do create a RR thread.

Thanks for the number, I'll give him a call.

Pete get off my RR thread with your random queries about your car! lol ... <3

Mo, i bet your coming up against the same issue as me regarding BHP, my actuator wont hold 26psi for long, it falls off quickly when you get there, ive been advised a Forge actuator, my cars currently putting out 212bhp with 258lbs, my mapper rekons if i had forge actuator fitted could hold boost all day and prob hit 230+ BHP.
also i wanted to know if different N75 valves have to do with holding more boost for longer as im running a 'E' variant currently.

Hi mate, you still haven't got me the pictures I asked you for of how you mounted the bottom of the side skirts, I've fitted mine as you can see, but am really vary of them without being mounted from the bottom.

In reference to the boost dropping issue, Vince from Stealth Racing reckons the Forge Actuator is a waste of money, in some cases worse then the OE item, his had nothing but bad experiences with them, if anything the standard replacement one is absolutely fine, if I was to replace it, it would be with a standard OE one. That's his experience, I'm sure there will be a few that disagree, it's more of a 'show' item imo, after reading the specs, a K03/S wouldn't really benefit from it.

In reference to my car's performance figures, I'm a firm believer that a K03S tops out @ 230-235 Bhp maybe a tiny tad bit more, look at my torque figures now, they are amazing for a K03S, this I reckon is down to the brand new clutch kit etc.

I've recently replaced the n75 when I had that issue with it not boosting because the n75 wasn't plumbed in correctly, I changed it from an 'E' to an 'F' (or the other way around) and I've read that's its the same valve, ever so slightly 'revised' they both hold the same boost for me.

To be honest, it doesn't bother me any more, I reckon I've got the most performance out of my car now, worked very hard to get there, built not bought! My car pulls like a train, feels amazing compared to other Stage 2 LC's / Mk4's I've driven.

My car's got a healthy engine, it's on 70K, with full dealer service history, I've even paid money to SEAT to change oils when I can do it myself just to keep it maintained to a high standard. The turbo's bang on, no play in the shafts etc and on Vince's 'unhappy' rollers it produced 227Bhp / 260ft, I can't complain.

Are you on a Stage 2 map?

looking good Mo, you should have done a how to fit guide ;) or atleast pics of how you fitted it on here.

Thanks bro

I would have done a guide but I'm not going to bother any more, reason? I've done some brilliant guides for fitting the FMIC when Toyosports released it new and some other's, helped so many people via PM and forums here, not one of them have said the two simple magic words 'thank you', I've also helped so many people with other mods on their LC's via PM and again, not a thank you in site and noticed so many people have imitated the mod's I've done on mine, in exactly the same way, again no credit given.

However, it's pretty easy to fit bro, drop me a PM when your ready, and I'll try my best to help you as much as possible.

Thinking of different ways to tidy up the right hand side of the inter-cooler pipework. Might do a custom 1 off job.
