Used silicone and didn't use enough I think. Leaking even worse now so just gonna bite the bullet and buy the butyl stuff and do it the right way.

Lesson learned I tell thee.

I recently fitted my S3 strut brace on my LCR. I was lucky enough to buy it of a guy who had it on his LCR - but you will need to take a hacksaw to yours where the bonnet catch is and trim a little away so it fits.
Then you will need to buy M10 bolts, nuts and Spring washers (anti vibrate loose ones!) drill some holes into the suspension tops (jack the car up/take wheel off for easier access) drop bolts through. Then measure how much you will need for the washer and bolt. Then cut off the excess (bolt taken out of the hole at this point!) then drop back in and do the washer and nut. Then dothe bolt up from the top using a socket set. Nice and tight :) job done! Took around an hour for me n my dad to do.

Put the already cut side down first then the other side. Literrally have to hold it vertical/diagonal to fit it under. Tell your insurance....? Why? Just remove it if you crash or say it's a standard strut brace.

That brace looks identical mine off my old Leon, had to trim down the mount on the bonnet catch side , best to take the bar off mount the mounts first the adjust the bar to suit it is adjustable

Fitted my spaxs coilovers today :) , been messing with the adjustable dampers all day , like a kid in sweet shop finally got it perfect for road use , feels firmer than my old weitecs , and can go harder still. I over the moon about how these coilovers feel , the ride is perfect can't praise them enough
