This should work with all MK4 Ibiza's:

(cant quote url as im a newbie)

The seller is very knowledgeable and was confident enough to offer a full refund if it didnt work and it did!

Hi Veyron

Did you buy this one, is it working ok? What did you do regarding transponders?

Swap it from your old key or get it programmed?

Cheers.

Yeah thats the one i bought mate, working flawlessly! Even the boot button works!

I cut my sprare key up (with no buttons) and put it my new one with a blob of blu-tak.

Just be careful getting the old transponder out as it is fiddly and delicate!

I didn't realise the boot on the ibiza doesn't work with remote.

On my cordoba when I lock/unlock the boot gets locked/unlocked with the rest of the doors. But when I remove the key from the ignition the doors unlock but the boot stays locked. I then have to press button on drivers door or remote button to unlock boot.

Got my key anyway. Got a second hand 1J0 595 753 CT one then a new casing with SEAT badge included, new transponder chip and a vag tacho cable.

Will let you know how I get on.

Got my vag tacho. Retrieved the SKC without any hassle.

Just waiting for my key blade. Other than that I'm ready to code the new transponder.

Got my key blade today so put it into my flip key, put the transponer chip in and got it programmed in.

Took a bit of messing about as the immobiliser light kept flashing with both keys even though it would start fine etc.

I erased the old keys while programming both in and it cured that.

At least now the old spare key that is floating around out there somewhere won't be able to start the car!

If anyone needs any help in coding in a new key always happy to help. I was told by main dealer that they would charge £40 to do this for me!

I never have had a spare key. Only the one remote key.

I had to get a completely new key and transponder etc. Now have the original remote key and a new flip key.

Hallo,

New user here :)
The lack of a boot pop button on the mk4 ibiza remote really does annoy me lol.
Side of my key reads 433Mhz will the above ebay item be fine or would I need a different one?

How much does it cost to have teh blade cut? And is the SKC available on any of the paperwork or anythign that came with the car?

I've got the same key as Veyron now, I bought mine 2nd hand.

I can't get the remote to work at all though following the instructions on here. Does a 2nd hand remote make a difference?

Nevermind, I sorted it. I found that removing the ignition key then trying the key seemed to fix the issue with the syncing :D

Nope, I got mine done through an eBay seller. You supply them with the last 4 digits of your SKC and they can cut an exact replica of your current key. The price includes the blade itself, so it's very cheap to do and worked perfectly for me. He guarantees that the key will work, and will refund if it doesn't. Definitely a better option than Timpsons or the like.
