went for a swim in the rear footwell looks like i have the infamous door seal problem to sort out

After reading this I checked mines and it looks like I'm going for a swim aswell 

Visited the stealers to buy a new splitter and "stowage box".... Fitted new splitter (what a right pain in the a**e that was)

Finally fitted the "stowage box" in place of the CD Changer and at last have somewhere to put the owners manual other than shoved in the door card pocket

At the weekend I washed, clayed, polished, waxed and sealed the bonnet, wings and roof... This weekend (if the rain stays away) hopefully get the rest of the car done and looking spik an span once again!

Just bought a Forge TIP off eBay for £52 Woohoo!! Got a polished manifold and charge pipe from D.K too. Picking up new hoses and gaskets from JKM on Saturday - fitting it all at the weekend! So excited!!

There's a space under the steering wheel to the left that fits the owners manual perfectly

Gathered a whole heap of tools and parts together ahead of some fun time - replacing rear beam bushes and top mounts, and both front wheel bearings and top mounts. Just need some good weather now

bought some surrounds when the pressed plates fell off (halfords "super" sticky pads are s**t)
fixed window regulator
broke door lock

been busy

still havent washed it yet... front wheels are almost black now

VAGCOM'd my LC and it came up with just the one fault - intermittent MAF problem, which is something I suspected. Will had a play with that this weekend. Also redid the drivers door seal. Despite the MAF error, she is running beautifully now since replacing the CAT - so smooth.

Im at protyre waiting for my tracking to be done now i have clocked up 500 miles since my collies were fitted. Also have the brake and steering fluid checked. Hopefully later today i will get my rear strut brace and my new boost gauge fitted

(yesterday) I Polished my car , fitted electric/folding genuine Seat wing mirrors again (had cheap manual dtm ones on after some plank smashed one) & cleaned inside with a bit of lemon dash spray .
