Gave the nice lady at the garage reception the pleasure of removing nearly £600 from my account so the car could get a new camshaft. To say i am less than impressed is an understatement!

Though it is nice to have a working car again.....for now!

Changed both front wheel bearings as they were shot (and managed to keep the hubs intact), replaced rear top mounts, injector seals and gave the throttle body a clean :)

All I can say about the wheel bearings is.... slide hammers are ace! ;)

Got 2 new tyres on the front and finally managed to get the front bumper off to change a sidelight bulb to LED and fit a LCR splitter.

Gave the engine bay a quick clean too.

It was 2 owners from new well the guy owned since 5 week old. The garage had buffed the car but never bothered to clean the inner bits like the sides when you open the boot green mold all window rubbers corroded the first 2 services were done at a body repair shop .. Suspicious if i bought a new car you would atleast expect the first couple at main dealer. Couple dents had paintwork at 1 stage pure dissapointment. 280 mile roundtrip. 42k miles i reckon its been sat in a field for a long time chewing grass ! Lol
