And yeh the material is some fancy stuff cobra use for comfort. It's weird it's quite a matt finish but then with light on it it shines like in the pic and looks like wet suit material haha I'll also have to not put any more weight on aswell, it's quite narrow! Not sure what the standard seat weighs but this one is 6.2kg's

you should weigh the standard seats and the cobra seats just to see how much of a weight difference there is,what will you do about the wires going to the seat for the airbag would spliceing them together stop a dash light?

edit you have already weighed the seat lol needs to be done with the mountings too.

Them Cnc mounts are probably not far off 6kg's tbh!

You can resistor them so it thinks it's still plugged in. Vag also do proper clip in cancellers for the dashboard airbag to cancel it out an fool the ecu, bloke at where I take my car to has given me a male one and a female one to try, fingers crossed it's the same connection as don't like bodging stuff, even though slapping a resistor in isn't too bad haha can't turn seat airbag off with vagcom either

Tbh mate went to our lasses in it and she wanted a run out in it, so been for a run round loads of back roads with the top down and it's fooking awesome lol quite fond of it now, the quattro is class and with it's less power you can just plant it everywhere with no wheelspin at all haha

Dont have problems even with more power. Even in wet Quattro/4 motion is awesome!

Although a lad I know has problems with his 4 motion, he has bolted a turbo to his R32 though.....

Just lacks abit motoring along on the road though, the tt was stage 1 mapped and felt like my Ibiza did before it was mapped lol can just boot it everywhere though. The diff makes mine pretty similar but can still spin both wheels up in 1st and most gears when it's really wet! My mate with a gt35r on his r33 (overbored engine) said his just grips and goes, your mate needs better tyres

Got the Ibiza back, much better haha nearly went through the windscreen when I braked for a rounderbout as I'd got used to the tt brakes lol

Hey guy's just signed up today, I've got a candy white FR too and saw that you used to own one, do you guys have any meets in the north east as I'm based in northumberland.

Also I need to start a thread as I've decided to keep my car and start modding it again.

Nice to meet you guys btw, can anybody help me upload photos and things as I'm not the exactly IT literate.

If you join up to vagcars.co.uk, thats a local vag forum where most the meets happen. There is actually one tomorrow night

Any scn meets which happen in the north east tend to be the rolling road days that are held in conjunction with vagcars. Next rolling road day is on 9th July, though it doesnt seem as busy so far, compared to the rest of them!

Just gotta sign up to photobucket and upload your photos onto there, once they are uploaded you just copy and paste the image code it makes for you and jobs a goodun!

Cheers for compliment on the old fr, tbh i wish i didnt get them twists and kept the first set of bbs! It's never lookded as good as it did on them its been sold on again recently aswell
