Lol, i didnt mean it. Your lovely really, and not in any way weird. Na, handles are a doddle! Just be patient with them (i wasnt) filler primer covers the gaps in the old paint, so rough it all up, 2-3 coats fp, sand it flat, 2-3 coats of ur desired colour, then laquer, if its gloss. I've never laquered a matte paint cos i dont know what itd look like.

I know from attempting to get the handles out, they're a PITA to do, I wouldn't bother tbh. Unless the paints stripping on them too, in which case, it's likely worth it, for aesthetic appeal.

Bad Boy! :p I did the same with my key. You know what they say about simple pleasures and simple minds  Got another update to put up, and another on the way. It's all go now! :p

Damn it.. Wont bother then.. I hate chrome though.. The handles themselves are in perfect nick.. Its just those dreaded thingies that look sh1te.. I need to get them off first, then it will be a Piece of cake :)

And I know, True Badass, Whilst I do it, I just think, Im only making them worse... but sack it its SO fun!! Oh well.. I need mine lowered.. You thought about it at all?

Aye, it has crossed my mind a few times... Would like to do a bit more research on spring rates etc though, see if the ride will be harsher or softer with coilies. The other alternative is transferring the springs across from the cupra fronts

As for the handles, if you don't like them, I don't know how to get them out of the plastic assemblies they're in, but you can seperate them from the door card, mask off as much as you can and spray them that way. I like the chrome, brakes up the black a bit :)

Lol thats easy. Just pull the gold pin out that runs through and the handle falls out.

Those door cards look familiar. Get the speaker cover sorted?

Yeah, got the cover sorted.

RIGHT Update... again...

Didn't like the old carpet, so stripped the boot, put a plank of wood in, and covered it... :)

MOT Time. Failed :( CO emissions too high. I'm putting my money on the cat being gone, bearing in mind I drove round for a few months with the Lambda gone. Stupid really. Where's the best place to get hold of one? Help?

Right, new Cat fitted. MOT Saturday, then back otr and loving it :D Next. Lamin-X or DIY cupra headlights? I think the finished effect on the cupra headlights will be nicer than lamin-x, but the simplicity of the vinyl is veeery tempting.... Idea's? Opinions? Thgis B-spec mode on gt5 ain't half boring, you know.

Why not both? Though would be a bit similar to my car.
