Its not bad.... just got to do the bumper now

In other news, my ignition decided it doesn't want to start anymore (and its not recognising when I take the key out either, so my radio's on as we speak :() Ah well, means I get to fit a push button start ;)

shhhhhh, don't remind me! Got negative rake 3 miles up :p I'll get there eventually.

Yeah, I should do it this weekend, as I'm ill and can't do anything else... that said, I'm ill, so I really CBA. That and there will be better weekends to do it weatherwise...hopefully. Got my led fogs running off the ignition now, so they are classed as DRLs. :D Hope I'm the first mk3 to do that :p

Lol. If it makes you feel any better jordan, my lcr splitter gave up, and i've been laid off, so likely wont be doing anything to her for a while.cupra headlights? No, just twin reflector. I'll be converting them to cupra once i've got a new job, and hopefully some time on my hands. Again, hopefully at the same time, smoothing the bumper recess. Then we'll see about keeping her, or passing her on to someone more sensible... :-(

Okay, I don't have money, this is not an update.

-HOWEVER-

Stumbled across THESE the other day, and am wondering what they would look like fitted. I have no doubt they would look better than stock, and with a little lamin-X could look even better, but I wanted a few opinions before I made a mistake....

Also! Same site, found THIS Subsection. I posted the whole section because I am tempted by:
- 'Classic Style',
- 'Cult Style 1',
- 'SR Look'
- 'Wing Style 1'

This is to add to my ever growing shopping list when I get a new job :/ good fun eh?

Sounds like your very busy......... Haha.. Mate, I'd steer away from those dog ugly mirrors.. Colourcoded standards look top.. and those lights? Im actually undecided.. They will probably look better at night when you cant see the details, but can see the light pattern.. Lights: 50/50.. Mirrors 100% Not at all...

Lol. Ta Jordan. What, you don't even like the 'SR' ones? They're just like the stubbies! But I reckon visibility would be vastly improved with them ;) I'm thinking the rear lights will make her look even more like a mk5 golf, which in a way would be nice. I'd also Lamin-X the centre bits, make them a bit darker, as I have a black car, I think it'd suit :)

Never been a fan of aftermarket mirrors to be honest.. Always preferred standards.. Or OEM+ ;) Now you say it, those lights do look very mk5'y.. I think you should work your magic on the standard ones and make them look better.. Just tint them red before you decide to buy some.. That way you can decide.... Lowered your 'beeza yet? :)
