You'll be fine with the clutch and flywheel done Steve!

Just been to Johns there, had a look over it for me and did some logs in 4th haha car feels so much quicker when your a passenger lol feels so planted too. John seemed impressed with the grip it had :D

He's downloaded the map to build in the sai cancellation changes etc and the launch control, then should see him next week to have it uploaded :) hopefully when I revisit the e39 m5 will have its battery charged so I can hear the new exhaust!

Got another little update there, need to figure where to mount it first mind, I'll get some pics later hopefully!

I've just stuck it there with cable trailing and it's annoying to keep looking down. Think itl be off ontop of the steering cowling :D

Mint bit of kit mind, very impressed!

Aye good news indeed with the map, hopefully get a copy of the logs too. Ahh yeh fair one on the internals lol

Scangauge 2 turned up today, awesome bit of kit, very pleased with it. Fitting took 5 minutes too.

Tried it in these locations:

1st position was probably the best aesthetically but was a pain to have to look down to see it. Number two was best for viewing whilst driving, number 3 was sorta in the middle but blocked the dials abit. Went for number two in the end, ran the wire to it, stuck it down and job done!

Can only see the wire as far as the a pillar, like the boost gauge. Really pleased with it as a gadget.

The hp reading is certainly very flattering haha think it's trying to win me over lol could do with making a little shade for the top of it, there's a very small bit that is reflecting off the windscreen in the dark. Car feels miles better now with the new maf sensor on.

Cheers Mike, thanks for the quick delivery :)

It's really impressed me. Interesting seeing intake temps etc! Always nice and low really which is good to see.

With the maf setting, what is it measuring it in do you know?

g/s I guess, same as a VAG.com log. The BHP figure is worked out from that MAF figure (x1.4 or something!)
