How you getting on with VAG COM mate? I have just got my registration so will be having more of a play now that certain areas are unlocked. Been doing some further reading on what is what, finding it interesting. I will most likely lose my licence soon though with all these 4th gear power runs lol

You need to post this in the MK1 Leon section bud, not someone's reader's ride thread.

I bet your problem is a boost leak though.

Well been back to the JKM today to check for any fault codes etc from fitting TIP and cone filter, as was not right friday had 4 faults logged 3 of them were nothing to worry about, one being temp sensor - replaced with green one, second was battery voltage to low - had a new battery fitted so not sure on that one! third fault was the strange turbo pressure to throttle response to slow check dv from friday, had the guys look at it today they cleared everything with VAGCOM and ran some logs, deffo no boost leaks, and everything looks sound in the bay all tight, so cleared all codes and it hasn't come back on, they took it out for a test run all seems great so now error free :D, they ran some logs today came back with some great figures! so hoping for a increase now in bhp and torque now!

Also ran me a nice new cold air feed from airbox to where the old intercoolers used to sit, removed the standard plastic air intake jobby!

Goes like a rocket once again :D be interesting see how much power now more importantly torque they did mention though im on the limit for the clutch now, and running a new maf which is not genunie one its working fine but vw/audi ones are better so may look into that at some point

Will run some logs with vagcom when i get it don't have a laptop at the mo so friends coming round lol

JKM mentioned these errors may keep coming up, could be due to the AMD remap so i will keep an eye on them this may help some on here as nothing is wrong with setup seems strange?

Will get some photos sorted in the coming week

When running the new AmD map on my LCR, i got the fault code about voltage too low or something. That triggered the EML light to pop up. I think its down to some errors in the map or some sort. Its still a good map tho! I just decided to get revo back on it before i got rid of the car :)

that made me chuckle reading that lol at 4th gear runs! :) you go steady! yeah getting used to the VAGCOM Lite only problem is its not registered as i understand it most of the features are locked out? logs etc? managed to read the fault codes? does vag-come lite unregistered show all fault codes or only some of them? knowing my luck only some of them lol

how much was registeration £66? i prob have to get on the case now, the only problem is don't have a laptop, my mate has one and its installed on his, the other night i dragged my home pc outside and set it all up on the passenger seat just to clear the fault code again :D if i had, had to do some logs that could of been very interesting!

interesting brad what was the revo software like compared with AMD's map?, as the fault code was mapped out last time at AMD, wondering if the emissions light will come back on even when i have fitted the geniune maf only time will tell i suppose

Haha you serious? You brought the pc out!!! Top marks for effort that :) yeah it's $99 dollars for the registered version and it does unlock a lot. You can still do general fault finding with it as it is but there are still limitations there. The main benefit of registering is having the ability to log certain blocks. You saw my thread on my first logs, car seemed fine to me but when logging it showed I was down on g's. I refitted a few parts and ran it again and all is fine now so obviously I had a few leaks.

Only issue is though mate, you register the copy of vag com to a single laptop. It's pretty smart how they do it so that you can't pass it from pc to pc if that makes sense. It might make sense getting a cheap pc notepad if your thinking of purchasing a registration.

Nice one on the clutch, granted they are expensive but a must for tuned LCR's. If mine goes then that will be on my shopping list for sure!

Yeah good that you solved the leaks thats handy having the software to check that, what was that you had to refit?

I've come to the conclusion that i no longer suspect the MAF as causing the problems as checked it and its geniune bosh replacement so after further investigation looks like i may need one of these 02 spacers for the lambda sensor at the back to stop the emissions light coming on for no reason

have ordered one and will report back if successful

Right about time i took some pics so here goes gave the car a quick clean today and hoover :D

New Sachs Clutch is on really good got to give it 500miles to bed in the only problem is JKM have managed to split the cv gaitor while doing it so there grease all over the inside passenger wheel and in the wheel arch meh so it will have go back in again, also tried to fit the 42 design o2 spacer but because of the awkard angle it is on the cat will have to take it to a garage to do as don't want to round the bolt off not as easy as hoped meh but we tried!

anyway heres the badger 5 polished TIP in what you can see of it!

I've got Forge spacers.. 10mm front 15mm rear. which one's are you going for? Top quality spacers mate, but not cheap like most of their stuff. Some pics in my rr or I can get more focused on them if you like.
