hi there all need some help/advice i recently found the dreaded puddle of water in the rear footwell of my leon on closer inspection was very bad and had been there for some time i never noticed it when i bought the car anyway after fixing the problem i decided the best thing to do was take the interior out carpets seats underlay the lot and replace what was to far gone and let it dry out over a few days after it was dry i replaced all the interior but still had the airbag warning light on the dash re-checked all conections and all is fine but the airbag warning light will not go off so im a bit stuck what to do now any help adivice would be great cheers hendo

You need the airbag light cleard through vagcom , it's come on because there has been a fault condition (it couldn't find it) and now needs resetting

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to DubSteve. Having put it off for so long through fear, finally got round to re-sealing the doors today using your guide. Brilliant help, so thanks so much for it! FIngers crossed the next downpour stays out of my car this time!

Cheers mate, glad the guide helped. I'll be doing another member's Leon on Thursday, all being well, so I might take some more pics and add a bit more detail to the guide (PM me if anyone wants any specific pics or info adding).

DubSteve :)

Hi all I picked up my leon today. After a few hours decided to give the interior a personal clean to discover the passenger footwell and the rear passenger footwell to be wet. The back one is soaking. I know a vw tech and he said if its like the golf it will be the window reg seals. Is it easy to spot and will the garage have to sort it? Its a 2005 model
