Wet Vac whatever you can get out of it and turn the heat towards the floor for a while but if its as wet as you say you will probably need to strip the carpet back.
Run some insulation tape along bottom of the window where the glass goes into the rubber to stop some of the water getting into the door panel.
Go onto ebay and get some of the butyl rubber seal to fix the door ASAP, you will be better fixing the problem before you start to try and dry the floor out

Aha! A wet vac, why didnt I think of that?? I assume a Henry isnt a wet vac :ban:. I searched ebay for the "butyl rubber seal" and got no results? :help:

In all honesty it really is as easy as 1.2.3

1 lower the window and take off door handle cover and undo 2 screws

2 undo the bolts that hold the carrier on and rip off the old seal

3 put the butyl seal on and put door back together!

Job done

I've missed a few points but it's basicaly that easy just follow dubsteves write up and all will be fine

On that note can a mod put dubsteves write up in the first post???

The thought of taking the door apart is worse that actually doing it!

Totally agree, the more I thought about it the bigger a deal it became. Best thing to do is tackle one of the front doors as they are only slightly more complicated to strip down (x3 screws, a few more wire connectors to release). You can then decide if it's still too much for you or if it's not really that bad after all ;)
