Yep I already have one, but I am looking for another one as I have abit of an idea/plan of something that I want to do. And its easier having another bumper as it means I can still use the car while I am doing it.

It's a in good con just the side clips feeling a little tired but still gripped tell u why once I'm done if u still wanting a project can bring it up :)

Got home from work today and I had a big box sitting waiting for me.

I opened the box to find this/

Then I opened the smaller boxes to find

.

These are my replacement rear coilovers to replace the one that is leaking. Got it free of charge through warrenty as my old ones were still in warrenty. But for some reason I have an extra set of springs as you can see in the box. So these replacements are getting fitted next week along with a new handbrake cable and a new Powerflex exhaust mount.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures couldnt get the pictures any better due to the light conditions etc.

After some discussions between sportseats4u and Sparco the frames I have got are correct, they are just missing a bracket from the front. I have a copy of Sparco's drawing for this and can get it made up at work, if required as Sparco are trying to wriggle out of supplying it using their 'terms and conditions'.

I had runners supplied with my seats which dont line up with the holes on the Sparco frames so I am going to modify the Sparco frames, all that is required is to drill a hole or 2.

What would be the best way to do this?? Use the front hole on the frame and drill a new one at the rear, use the rear hole and drill a new hole on the front or centre the whole runner and drill 2 new holes?

I would prefer to use one of the holes already there as it will make alignment etc much easier.

What do people recommend for me??

How tall/short are you? Personally I would use the front hole to line up as this will leave less frame showing in the front of the car. But if you are lanky tall then maybe better to go for the rear holes.

Im not that tall, im about 5' 7/5' 8. My drivers seat right now is about half-way back, if not alittle closer.

Would prefer to use holes tbh to make the whole thing easier regarding alignment etc.

Car is now fixed with 2 new rear coilovers fitted and new handbrake cable and what a difference in the car. Pulls much better so I think the handbrake was sticking on a little bit with the slack in the cable etc.

So now its time to let the 2011 plans commence. :D :funk:

Love how it is sitting at the rear now after getting the coilovers replaced last week :D.

Oh and I hit a milestone this morning driving to work. Sorry about the quality of the pic.

Mike I got those exact same runners with my seats. I am going to adapt them to fit my Sparco frames to save on cost.

Do you have any problems with them the way you have mounted them??

I was going to fit them the other way with the 2 silver rivet parts towards the frame, and I was going to use washers to lift it just enough so the silver parts arent resting on the frame??

Hey don't put washers between the runner and the Frame as the bolt could snap in a crash as would have some leway they work ok except I can't adjust the seats unless I open the door as the handle catches on the door curve but doesn't bother me :) and bolt straight into the frame washer under neither then a nut and a secondary nut for precaution i used

Thanks mate. lol. Just wondering how much longer the engine will last.

Ive done 55k in my car myself. And I done 10k of that in 6 months .

Im not going to use washers now Mike. Had a look at a frame and runner last night and built it up how it will be in the car and I can get away with fitting them the same way as you have yours. And Im going to keep it looking OEM by putting the handle for adjusting the seat the same way as the handle on the standard seats.

Should be fitted in a few weeks once I get 2 brackets made up that I need. :D.

So am I?? Soon as the battery light came on I knew the belt has disappeared and my first thought was 'Waterpump runs off that belt' and was waiting for it to overheat etc. But luckily the water-pump runs off the cam/timing belt, as does all the 'critical' engine components.

Looking forward to Spring 2011 when work/mods can begin. [B)]

Hmm is yours an 8v or 16v because when mine snapped back in December also (I wish I had found this thread back then, I'd have solved half my issues) my car overheated straight away and my battery light did not come on ?

Now it is back on, I only have issues with my power steering. Car does not overheat, although the cooling fans at front of car always come on now, instead of just going on on a long run.

I am sure my aux belt covers the power steering, ac and water pump

I also have the constant rattle from that pulley too. Maybe I should get it replaced.
