help needed

hello all. i have been thinking about my engine bay and the way it looks.
i have just bought a spare manifold so when that arrives i will polish it up and fit it. now im also thinking about the white in my engine bay. i dont know what to do. keep the white as it is or strip it back to standard for a more oem look.

put it back to this but also strip the battery cover back to black plastic

or

do i keep it like this and expand on what i already have

so any thoughts or suggestions would be great. also the red hose will be staying.
so please help

I personally would go more OEM with just the red hosing. Only colour id paint anything would be ''crackle black'' - you know the paint with bits in.

The only thing's I would chage on yours would be; get rid of the orange dip stick, either paint or cover the washer bottle and header tank, the S3 side cover is an option but it's not an easy fit, paint the cable cover on the top right hand side white, Red hoses from the catch can and polish the manifold to match the charge pipe.

What ever you do DONT get rid of the white ;)

I'm working on some new bit's for mine at the moment so I'll see how they come out before I show them off.

thanks darren, i agree on the dipstick and cable cover :) im not so keen spraying the washer bottle and header tank, they look nearly white anyway ;)
the mani is on my todo list. with the hose to the catch can it needs to be oil resistant hose, silicone falls apart, i know this as the silicone gasket inside the tank has ended up in tiny bits :(
i think my only option on this its to cover the hoses in red cable tidy stuff or red silicone hose repair tape.

you can get flurolined coloured hoses for the catch can mate. pretty sure samco do it and it dont perish. do think the mani once polished will complement your bay nicely.

Pics will follow later tonight. Badger 5 tip is now confirmed and on its way woop woop cant wait.
Also i met a scn member tonight, nick. Hes a top guy and hes interested in swaping my miltek cat back for his magnex cat back.
As for tomorrow i will meet another scn member called cupra rick, hes a friend of a friend who contacted me through here, such a small world. Also tomorrow i will start polishing my inlet manifold. Im also going to add a new vacuum out let, this is to run a boost gauge. Any ideas were you can buy a vacuum nipple to tap into the manifold?
Thanks all and pics will be up soon.
