Well thing is.. I'm at school from 8:30 till 5 most of the times, then get home and eat, then schoolwork till at least 23:00... And then I can't do anything on the car, cause I don't have the right tools myself...

And slowly eating my time cuz i got my exams within 2 weeks, and I just can't set myself to do any school work because I rather do something on the Ibiza... Or at least order parts for it and that kind of stuff, you know...

Oh hello cruise control :D. Who says you don't get creature comforts in a mk2.

Heheheh, you funny guy!

You know you got a cheap-arse MK2 Ibiza when you don't have...
- Electric windows...
- Electrical adjustable mirrors...
- Aircon
- Alloys...
- A sunroof...
- Remote locking...
- Central locking at all...
- A spoiler that is actually supposed to be on your version of the car...
- nice paint...
- A Cupra or GTI...
- CRUISE CONTROL

While everyone else with the same car does have at least one of those things...

:p Mine's still getting loved tho!

I wouldn't worry, only tdi owners can get cruise control. If i ever sell the car the extra electric window switch and extra heated windscreen switch are likely to confuse the new owner.

You know you got a mk2 Ibiza when the box for your coilover only narrowly actually fits in the car....

(off-topic rant)...
(And... you know you hate your parents when either one of them has sent one of the tools you need to take the old shocks off to go missing... So you gotta wait with your new coilovers untill tomorrow to fit them which makes u angry cause you really wanted to put them on :()

you know you have a mk2 when you keep catching your foot on the bonnet release when your getting out the bas*ard car!!!!!

I don't find the mk2 at all bad for climbing in and out.

I've hurt myself more and broke the mk4 more than the mk2. The speaker cover has been ripped off and I've cracked my knee on the air vent many a time in my mums mk4. It's a hideous car the mk4.

...when you're still throwing hundreds of pounds in to the car.

I've decided to get the cambelt changed as well as getting this v belt sorted. Hopefully then no more issues for a while. £250 all in including tow truck to take it to mechanics.

What now Craig?

Well after my power-steering pump issue I then had to get new track rods and track rod ends.

The car then developed a nice when moving coming from the rear (thread in the section somewhere) and now I need a new handbrake cable and Ive found out one of my rear coilovers is leaking aswell.

Oh and I need another polybush for the centre section mount of the exhaust.
