i tried all sorts of messing around with mine mate, new seats at 45 quid a go, doors stripped down to silicone them up, but in the end a little 4-5 mm hole in eather side of the rubber seal worked a treat. It took an entire 5 mins with a pair of side cutters after all the other messing around and money i threw at it. Its a good job she's worth it!

I made the 2 small triangular cuts in both front door seals as others have done and no more wet when opening the doors and no more wet carpet, well happy. I still get condensation on the inside of the windscreen but I think this may be down to the pollen filter needing to be changed.

Any chance you could post up some photos of these holes? Sounds a bit less obvious than cutting the V's out.

And does it not matter which part of the seal has gone as to where you make holes/cut V's out?

I discovered under my drivers seat was wet on Monday :censored:

Well the V cuts did not work for me, so its been off to the garage to have new sealing cord put in. Now i have to work out how to lift the carpet and dry out all the sound deadening, its at least 2 inches deep in water at the minute, ill get a bucket and measure how much i can soak up, i may need 2 buckets judging by the amount of water in there.

OK so i have silicone all the doors in the car put it all back together and waited for rain, which did not take long :p went to check the foot space i the rear and water still building up :censored:

So glad i did not put all the carpets back in place! So took the door panel off and got a bucket of water and tipped it all down the window only to find a new leak.... its coming out under the speaker!!! just cant win.

I have had my speakers changed with after market upgraded speakers years ago not sure if that's why its leaking there? Has anyone else had it leaking through the door speakers?

Thinking of going round with silicone and also using some plastic around the back of the speaker to protect it.... but has anyone else had this or got any better ideas?

Cheers
